Big Sean always comes off well in interviews. Personable, professional, funny. Idk if he's a good guy but he has his shit together.

Big Sean kept it real. If that was Cole's song he would have rewritten his verse 5 times after hearing Kendrick. Not that there's anything wrong with that, unless you rewrite due to catching feelings (see: LL after Canibus' verse). But Sean is too chill for that and I respect it. And let's not kid ourselves, he out rapped everyone on Clique: dude can spit. I wish he had some substance though, and fewer corny ass lines.

Big Sean seems like a humble dude in those interviews. And he's a cool guy for playing his album for his fan. It's a damn shame I can't get into his music though.

Yup, feel the same way. Seems like a cool dude but I just can't stand most of his rapping. Once in a while he'll put something out worth listening to, but for the most part he is just a less annoying version of Kanye's corny ass.

I thought that was one of the lesser liked songs here? Either way that bass is a monster in the car. Gets the whole car shaking.

Yeah I see mostly negative comments about it on here. Personally I like the song. Great beat, and I like the outlandish absurdity of the lyrics. DAMN I GOT BITCHES

Yeah and dude definitely has quotables and pretty much fathered Nicki Minaj's former style...I guess that's a huge knock though actually lol.

ooh Lupe made some listenable shit.
Super Lupe Rap 2
Starts off good, but gets corny fast.
Sing About Me was my song of the year.
Fuck yeah definitely, the setup, the different characterizations, the climax...It's a fucking short film in of itself.
Des died for our sins so recon could be unbanned.
bury me in wood
And I will splinter
Bury me in stone
And I will quake
Bury me in water
And I will geyser
Bury me in fire
And I'm gonna phoenix

I'm gonna phoenix
I'm buying the album just because Ferg put Bone on a track.
Bones and Wacka, fuck I might have to support. Shit is more consistent than Rocky's last effort, which is mindblowing. The Work remix still goes hard too. Ferg's got charisma and that wonky delivery actually works really well on these tracks, maybe it's because the subject matter never gets overly serious
the day Des is like "i'm gonna go on KTT we never talk about music anymore" this shit happens.

thank King Kendrick Lamar for once again lighting a fire under hip hop's ass.
Got super drunk all day and was out chasing hoes like I didn't have a baby-momma and upcoming financial woes. And last night I went to an Open Mike Eagle and Homeboy Sandman concert. Open Mike Eagle blew my mind, dude is too intelligent and can sing-rap better than just about anyone. Homebody's can spit just as fast with strong delivery as Kendrick, it's just his subject matter is too off the wall for him to be taken seriously. He started to lose his breath towards the end, but his call and response game is so inventive.
So I just found out this chick I was really cool with in High School is now an escort

Is this what we do nowadays? Don't link shit?
Gotta watch this shit for sure, loved the Pitchfork one where they followed Danny and Skywlkr
Kendrick starts firing shots at GAF-Hop and shit

"motherfuckers trip up and get stuck on my swords
King Kendrick Lamar the Mod coming to fuck up your boards"

enzo: "Good Kid still ain't as good as that Yeezus tho"
Tguy: "S.W.A.T. Healing Ritual still better, step your game up K. Dot"
PD: "Breh, get these GAF-Hop fools. West west, Tupac all day. I love how you're like Tupac reincarnated son. Let me hold that mic for you while you spit these bars. Yeah I like how you do that, son."
Toku: "Juicy J >>>> Kendrick Lamar"
Enter the 36 Chambers: "fuck that, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot shits all over Section 80"
siddx: *censored*
Macca: "Big Sean the god bodied you tho Kendrick, stop fronting. Boi."
soul creator: "recording my diss track son. Where's my smooth Jazz-Hop at? Wait, why y'all falling asleep?"
IrishNinja: "unless he got Yu Suzuki featured on his next track I could give a fuck what Kendrick got to say"
Eschaton: "Nas lost."
WanderingWind: "we all know Macklemore is the true king of the West Coast"
HiResDes: "well shit, no free mixtape links for you, Kendrick."
BlackAce: "I know some motherfuckers in Japan that'll BODY Kendrick Lamar. They're featured on my new mixtape, btw."
Recon: "fuck BlackAce"

trying to see how well I know y'all, lol. It's all love
The PD one is the best, damn
Fuck yes!
dumpster diving.
This is how I really got ethered.
Trap Lord is an accessible Raider Clan album.

Yo pretty much, though I gotta say the new Key Nyata is pretty damn accessible, more people should give it a listen. Just pretend Key has A$AP in his name if you're worried about listening to somebody that'll never make it big

HRD u ready for that new Bones tape on Sunday? fucking lol
Oh yes, though he better switch it up somehow...Too many damn tapes

...Also guys I'm not at home but there's a new Ras G, Jim Jones mixtape, and HBK Gang (Iamsu and co.) mixtape out

Im not gonna lie if I was in the klvn I would probably wanna shoot asap crew for stealing my style that hard. That shit would infuriate me.

And yea Kendrick s lung capacity isnt all that. See him live and youll agree. For a dude who doesnt smoke hes kinda flabby in that respect. Id say breath control is the worst part of his emceeing.

Ive been seeing some shoutouts to Vince on the coli, Heir Gang is slowly coming up. They just need to dial that sense of humor up to ten and write some shit that is a little less character-playing. They could be big, especially Aston and Vince. Just need some polishing.

@kendricklamar it’s okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let’s just call it mentoring.

The physical form of blasphemy
How the fuck does one release something as garbage as dope Francis, and then drop SLR 2, in the same day? Lupe sounds like he's awake on this shit...

what happened at work Des?

Didn't find the key. I found the chain it was on, but the key wasn't on it, yes in the dumpster. Had to call my district manager who had to drive 20 miles to get a master key. I got written up and he's been making periodic checks on me ever since. I got fucked.

FPS' are probably my favourite genre, but I can't stomach what CoD has done to the entire genre.

I want to play Bioshock Infinite, but by all accounts it's a mediocre shooter with a great story. I just want another shooter to come out and just do what CoD4 did once again.

who is this guy?
Basically the asexually reproduced offspring of drake. Pd posted one of his videos a while back while making some joke about lightskin rappers or something and everyone laughed about it cause the dudes punchlines are the corniest...

Basically a walking parody of the sensitive safe enough to being home to your parents if you're a white girl rapper

They have nobody to blame but themselves. If someone comes along and gets attention for the same thing you are doing while you still sit around in obscurity, its because you either didn't put yourself out there well enough, or they are just plain better than you. In this case both things are true.

Kenneth was smart not to mention Guwop.

Those new tapes are niiiiice.

In other news, that verse had to effect Q the worst. He has to follow it and GKMC.

Perhaps more importantly, Just Blaze needs to finish up some music for one of the MC's Lamar named; Drake.

"The main thing in my brain right now is these three beats I need to finish and get to Drake. I just haven't had time. They're halfway there and I just got to get them done," revealed Just, who is also executive producing Slaughterhouse's new album. With Drake's Nothing Was The Same album due out September 17, let's hope Just gets crackin'".

That means more songs like Lord Knows. Just need that T-Minus production.

I think people are being unfair to Q. He's not really a serious rapper, admit it. His album is going to be party anthems, some bragging, and maybe a couple introspective tracks. He's in an entirely different lane than Kendrick.

I'd be more hopeful about a Jay Rock album, even though I'm not a fan of his solo music thusfar. Jay Rock has been on both sides of the gangsta coin: the bystander/victim like Kendrick/Q/Ab Soul, and the perpetrator. After this Money Trees verse I have way more interest in what he does next than whatever Q does.

At this point I'd be shocked if Q's album is better than average/ok.

Great post. Q basically isnt on the same level as Kendrick and never will be, but hopefully he can put out a nice generic swag/druggy album. It'll be solid as long as he dials back the stupid adlibs and makes a concise project. HnC is an average, snoozeworthy project because it has like 17 5 minute songs. I dont have the patience for another hour and a half of swag rap with mediocre beats and rapping.

Mecklemore Is My Favorite Wrapper
What the fuck is wrong with Cassidy. Dude has some nice punchlines, but his response was to say "I got hyped off that Kendrick song" 3 minutes in to the joint, then says fuck Kendrick in the last 15 seconds like he knew people would have shut the song off by minute 6.

I don't care for it either. I was surprised so many in here liked it. I thought everyone tore him apart when the ASAP Mob thing came out.

it took some folks a while. idk how you could hear Choppas On Deck and not know that Ferg had it in him.

I still wonder whether Dre is going to try to take Jay Rock's and make him the savior of the West, crafting his debut into the next Documentary.

Ive seen this in my visions. It has dope production, a couple dope storytelling tracks, and a 40 water feature.

Out of the whole camp right now, Jay Rock is the only one that needs someone solid in his corner. Dude has heart and always drops dope verses. Someone at interscope (Dre) just needs to be like "Rock, I got you. Just move quiet and do this."
