Finally I understand folks saying Drake is the hottest rapper in the game.

Watch it now. You're going to upset Phoenix.

----

On a note much less about roasting, anybody down for a late night smooth vibes plug sesh? I want to get off of gaf, and play castlevania, but a bit drunk and rather shoot the shit, so.

http://plug.dj/gaf-hop/

I'll sit in here for a bit

Yo HiRes, check out that ELOS album.

Word. but it might differ from person to person. I know I can't fuck with it unless my mind is clear, otherwise it just takes all the junk and makes the pile seem 30x larger.
A bowl and some ethereal/psychedelic music and I forget about troubles. This playlist is super limited though but it's good enough that I don't worry about replay ability.

I have no problem paying some money for someone's first project. Just release a stream of the album or something. If I'm being honest though, I wish there was a way these artist would let me pay for their first projects. Especially since it's rare for the first commercial album to be better than the mixtape they released before it.

Edit: I mean outside of Bandcamp. I'm not exactly sure how Bandcamp is legal when I've came across many things on there with samples in stuff. Anyone who knows how it works, please fill me in?
I think it's on a "don't ask, don't tell" basis. That's why Kno gets his panties in a bunch whenever people find out which samples he uses.

I could use some right this moment. Got a bomb workout on. Came back soaked up in the bath. Got my night drank on. Got Zero 7 on atm, I'm about such light energy on this weekday night. A bowl would be that miracle right about now.

Yep. Some dude with a manager tag joined the room then a chrome pop-up box came up saying "your plug session is now over. Goodbye."

kinda weird

they can do that? some foul shit
only Tguys should get treated that way

Some random detroit rapper made a diss to kendrick lamar just for... idk.

It made me laugh though and it condenses my reasons for disliking kendrick in bars.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh6r9UyLPJA

omg this is embarrassing lmao.

also it's such a general insult. he just calls him gay a few times and says he's a shitty rapper. how is this clown going to respect nicki minaj and big sean and call kendrick shit. this ting going on my youtube favorites for sure.

also what poor timing. hype is dead on the verse already. bangs and asap ferg had the best responses. it's over.

Yawn, couldn't finish the track. Was he off-beat or was it just me?

Also, he doesn't hate gays but still uses a homophobic slur, okay buddy.

he rhymed right with kendrick with in it, that's deep

and threw it like a ninja star, feelin that

he's right though, real rappers only care about what people in the streets like (after hood surveys of course) and who can win in a fight cause rap game is def jam FFNY now apparently

So no one that Kendrick listed still hasn't responded yet?

Everyone Kendrick listed in Control were at a house party, drunk talking shit, and Mac Miller said, "Kendrick you should just list all of us and see how many other people respond"

Everyone started laughing

someone said it a while back, but if any of em woulda responded they just would've looked mad and been perceived to take an L anyway

and disco called it, its been long enough where only struggles in human form like that last detroit security guard there bother showing up to see if they can eat some leftovers

i mean by next week you might as well double-down on your k-dot response and do it in the form of a timely harlem shake

LiG is a personal classic, you can debate the beats all you want but Nas is on point 90% of the time on that album and that's why I love it. No bullshit changing your tone, pitch, making doo doo gun sounds just a dude and a mic spitting bars filled with knowledge.

Bad lyrics great beat = good song
Bad lyrics amazing beat = anthem of the summer
Great / amazing lyrics, bad or average beat = 4/10

Doesn't make sense.

nope - being the best of ross' catalog =/= being a classic, it's just his best so far

No, it's an amazing album by itself with maybe one mediocre track (and even that one is pretty hot).

Plus, hugely influential on the sound of mainstream hip hop today thanks to BMF.

And it helped establish Ross as one of the biggest artists today.
And it helped (most) hip hop fans forget about "keeping it real" and made them focus on the music itself a bit more.

A classic brehs.

let's break this down to molecules, grzi

that's pretty forgiving, but i'm okay with it being "amazing", not a classic

hip hop right now is very influenced by drug culture, EDM and all kinds've bullshit, let's stop pretending trendsetting is an essential component of a classic for reasons i outlined in my last huge-ass post man

tl;dr totally krossed out gome some fools dressing backwards: classic
neptues' sound on BP 2, Lord Willin' etc got a lotta copying/crossover: guess they classics too
etc

And it helped establish Ross as one of the biggest artists today.

...so many jokes right now

And it helped (most) hip hop fans forget about "keeping it real" and made them focus on the music itself a bit more.

doubt it, the old school heads who gave a shit about that still do, they're the ones callin him officer ricky on sites none of us care about
even so, that's a pretty weak gimmick to latch onto, especially since it'd belong on something closer to Port of Miami

A classic brehs.

in conclusion: nope, i reject your deposit

Blackace

if you see me in a fight with a bear, don't help me fool, help the bear!
Biggie is the anomaly. Im either assuming a ton of dudes bought his music, or girls just assumed he had a massive piece because of his overall size

If only Rozay could discover his secret
Ross already made more than Biggie and isn't get fucked over by Diddy

With all the hype Ross still couldn't go platinum, gfid's sales are probably neck and neck with Born Sinner. Not bad but definitely not what you would expect the way Ross stunts.
