aha yea man. that's how I used to be like 2-3 years ago with my friends, but after like the 4th blackout and actin' a fool in a bar and gettin the lot of us kicked out I swore that shit off for good.

I don't think I'm "cultured" because I enjoy quality liquor. I just can't stand sweet drinks at all anymore. I only drink water these days too, so I gotta have my alc raw.

Word of advice, cheap alcohol tastes like crap. spend a little extra and get the good stuff.

Only time I'll agree with filler. I don't really do mixed drinks anymore aside from tonics, I stay the fuck away from most rums and cheap tequila is top 10 worst things you can experience on planet earth.

This actually was a really great year for hip-hop albums, a lot of surprises all around (Trap Lord, MNIMN being good, Indicud not being horrible, Hall of Fame and Run The Jewels having no staying power, etc.).

I think my AotY list is pretty much done. Just need to figure out where to slot BOATS II and The Night's Gambit in the grand scheme of everything else that came out this year.

Enjoyed Night's Gambit on first listen, I just listened to it in the morning on the way to school so it was mad mellow and shit. Very atmospheric. Dude is pretty lyrically capable, I like the way he delivers his rhymes. The subtle inflections in his voice when he says certain words or how he enunciates at times really breathes life into the monotone voices (though at the end of the day, they are mostly monotone so it's not exactly "put this shit on whenever" music for me). Didn't really care for the production, it's bland/boring, however very appropriately complements the raps.

Can't remember anything outside of Flight Confirmation off of it. Still as forgettable. Some interestingly themed production though.

The best thing about Russian Roulette is how The Alchemist manages to stick to the script the whole way through. The samples are so cohesive. More than any one track, the whole is project is important. It doesn't feel right throwing on one track without the next, and it's the kind of album you just want to play the whole way through while listening. It's only 45 minutes but it feels like a journey through a crazy haze of obscure samples and guitar solos.. It'll never sound old.

This ain't prescription though, I'm guessing all the stuff you can get at sex shops arent as effective? Either way, shit was expensive for 1 pill, taking it all in lol.

Listened to Ka's album driving home in the rain. Perfect combo. Need to relisten, his monotone delivery + simple production was way to easy to tune out. Don't feel I gave it a proper listen.
