Of course he is, Dre isn't too involved in the business meetings he just gives a thumbs up or thumbs down whether he green lights the idea or not. There is only one way to launch a competitor to iTunes and that is with a killer exclusive like Detox.

It's not going to compete with iTunes but Detox exclusive to a service so Apple doesn't get their 30% cut is enough money for them to make the service. Dre can also put his money where his mouth and we'll see if they allow you to download music in high quality codecs.

Edit: Also guys this Styles P is epic. The Myth has to be in my top favorite tracks of the year. Alchemist and Styles P would have been twice the album that No Idols was.

Sources close to VIBE have confirmed that Violator Management founder Chris Lighty has passed away.

Violator has worked with stars such as Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes,Q-Tip, Missy Elliott, Fantasia, Mýa, Diggy Simmons, Cormega, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J, Nas, and more.

Jeff Robinson, who was close to Lighty, confirmed the tragic news on Twitter.

Not unless they link to mediafire or something similar in the comments which they hadn't this morning. I disagree on the C&S sounding better, I shut it off and started bumping the O.G. Love me some Mondre.
