I meant first week numbers specifically, but yeah I agree.
I think he could pull off a huge opening week. He needs another huge hit like Stronger/Gold Digger. But it's possible.

This Art of Peer Pressure is just too dope. So many replays on my iPhone. Best stop now or it will get played out before the album drops.

[Verse 1]
Me and my niggas four deep in a white Toyota
A quarter tank of gas, one pistol, and orange soda
Janky stash box when the federales roll up
Basketball shorts with the Gonzales Park odor
We on the mission for bad bitches in trouble
I hope the universe love you today
Cause the energy we bringing sure to carry away a flock of positive activist a filthy body would hate
If its necessary
Bumping Jeezy first album looking distracted
Speaking language only we know, you think is an accent
The windows roll down all I see is a hand pass it
Hotboxing like George Foreman grilling the masses
Of the working world, we pulled up on a bunch of working girls
And asked them what they working with look at me
I got the blunt in my mouth
Usually Im drug-free, but shit Im with the homies
[Hook]
(Yea nigga, we off a pill and Remy Red
Come through and bust ya head nigga)
Me and the homies
(Sag all the way to the liquor store
Where my niggas pour up 4 and get twisted some more)
Me and the homies
(I ride for my mothafuckin niggas
Hop out, do my stuff, then hop back in)
Me and the homies
(Matter fact, I hop out that mothafucka and be like
Doo! Doo! Doo! Doo!...Doo! Doo! Doo! Doo! Doo!)
[Verse 2]
Its 2:30 and the sun is beaming
Air conditioner broke and I hear my stomach screaming
Hungry for anything unhealthy and if nutrition can help me
Ill tell you to suck my dick and then I'll continue eating
We speeding on the 405 passing Westchester
You know the light skin girls in all the little dresses, good Lord
They knew we werent from round there
Cause every time we down there we pulling out the Boost Mobile sim cards
Bougie bitches with no extensions
Hood niggas with bad intentions, the perfect combination
Before we sparked a conversation
We seen three niggas in colors we didnt like then started interrogating
I never was a gangbanger, I mean I was never stranger to the funk neither
I really doubt it
Rush a nigga quick and then we laugh about it
Thats ironic cause Ive never been violent, until Im with the homies
[Hook]
(Just ridin, just ridin)
Me and the homies
(Bullshittin, actin a fool)
Me and the homies
(Trippin, really trippin)
Me and the homies
(Just ridin, just ridin, just ridin )
[Verse 3]
Bragging bout the episode we just had
A shot of Hennessey didnt make me feel that bad
Im usually a true firm believer of bad karma
Consequences from evil will make your past haunt you
We tryna conquer the city with disobedience
Quick to turn it up, beefing if we aint got the CD in
But Jeezy still playing and our attitude is still nigga, what is you saying
Pull in front of the house that we been camping out for like two months
The sun is going down as we take whatever we want
I hit the back window in search of any Nintendo
DVDs, plasma screen TVs in the trunk
We made a right, then made a left made a right
Then made a left, we was just circling life
My mama called kicking it
I shouldve told her Im probably bout to catch my first offense with the homies
But they made a right, they made a left then made a right
Then another right
One lucky night with the homies
[Hook]
(And this is the art of peer pressure, this is the art of peer pressure)
Me and the homies
(This is the art of peer pressure, this is the art of peer pressure)
Me and the homies
(And this is the art of peer pressure, this is the art of peer pressure)
Me and the homies
(This is the art of peer pressure, this is the art of peer pressure)
Think that's why it gets hated onI didnt think Jay was too bad but whatever, I like it.
Yeah you do. I can see some GAF-Hoppers hating it, but its classic X.
The Weeknd killed Wiz on his own track
Think that's why it gets hated on
People want to hear some growth in their rappers
DMX none of that
The lyrics are insane.
yeah same man. i'm hyped for the album, but i'm not sure it can top R.A.P. Music as my AOTY.
Lupe hasn't grown too much technique wiseThats a pretty good point. But its a double edged sword, the likes of Lupe has shown alot of growth since his debut, buts its not in the direction his fans want.
With X never really switching it up, his fans wont end up disappointed.
Not reallyHey Ace been thinking, have you ever made a mix with a chill vibe to it?
Guys. The track "On Me" on this Freddie Gibbs mixtape... am I hearing a Streets of Rage sample or just something very similar?
Not really
But am not opposed to It
Was thinking about making a smoking mix
I don't but it's honestly been ages since I've played those games.Am I the only one that hears this?
I bet X would love to do a new sound but he won't be able to get those kind of beats unless Swizz blesses him with one. If X went clean it would be much easier for his label to back him because they can actually put him in the limelight, as it stands nobody apart from Dame Grease and I guess upcoming producers want to work with him.
DMX doesn't want to branch out. It has nothing to do with his image. He blocks the outside world out to a fault, and doesn't have the slightest clue who the latest upcoming producers are or what new rapper might be fun to work with...Dude is living under a rock, and his enclosure is self-imposed.
First of it Sounds okYou make it sound like a bad thing. The album sounds great bottom line.
First of it Sounds ok
To me it sounds like b side tracks
Or some knockoff X
Ye made a shitty album is why he got shit not because he switched it up
When he made 808 his accepted it as his journey
Random thought. Since Kendrick's won't explain the 'a.a.' in the good kid m.a.a.d city title until we listen to it ourselves through the album
What do you guys think the 'a.a.' stands for?
My money is on Alcoholics anonymous, at least that's the way I think the albums gonna go after Swimming Pools

Ayo i been meaning to ask you. What kind of hip hop gets play out in Japan? When your Djing i mean. Typical club shit youd hear over here or does the taste vary?
That is the good thing about DMX. Also you are wrong,he did work a bit with MGK.
Yes. I really think were the only two on here who enjoyed the album and the fact its just classic DMX
If it were as dark and brooding as his first two albums then I'd like it more. It's too Grand Champ for my tastes.
DMX should try working with new sound at least
Imagine X on a Lex Luger beat
i sure its just hits. like flo-rida or Ye.
right. lol i suck at searching for shit. i forgot about the "sort by upload date" option

Uh oki sure its just hits. like flo-rida or Ye.
this is what dreams are made of
I've wanted a lex-flocka-dmx colab songsince I first heard Flockaveli
Reposting since it got buried. While we wait on Deniro and co. to mix down that Lunice track or some shit, he let go a track produced by FRIENDZONE:
http://soundcloud.com/friendzone/deniro-ferrar-back-forth-back
It's really good

LOLAftermath artist
These are two opposites man. Yeah it still works, but there's always the fear of stagnation, especially when there isn't anything really going against some versatility once in a while. Stifling creativity at the trying-level just doesn't sound like a good idea. You make it sound like a bad thing. The album sounds great bottom line.
It would be nice to hear him switch it up and get some new producers to craft a different sound for him. But if it aint broke dont fix it. Lotta artist change it up and their shit goes wrong, or the fans go up in arms.
Look at Kanye, fans give him shit over MBDTF, he was changing it up.
Same thing with Hov on BP3 and Kingdom come.
Lupe went the preacher route and it aint working.
DMX is doing DMX because thats what the fans want, and also thats all he knows how to do. Personally i loved the album.
Is what I was asking for before too.oh wow that Wiz/Weeknd song is nice.
kinda want a Wiz-less version.
This Art of Peer Pressure is just too dope. So many replays on my iPhone. Best stop now or it will get played out before the album drops.
Japanese dominant events have a ton of range from illmatic to Dre to Gucci
Clubs where brothers go get a lot of ignorance like my mixes
You can find almost anything here
Uh ok
