I did not know Wiz was a savior to some people.

I dont get this. I woulda thought Lupe would condemn car culture, pollution, materialism etc.
I been kind of in the mood to discuss Master P honestly. No Limit records especially Master P stuff, changed a lot from their beginnings. Early Master P was like on some UGK type shit, shit was awesome.
Charles Hamilton was considered a savior at one point too.

Dre looks like he aged 20 years in a week wtf
Yeah among the in patients at the nut house
Where you seeing this?
Not gonna lie, I thought most of Hamiltons tapes were garbage, but damn If I dont still play "Brooklyn Girls" every once in awhile. Dude could of been big. He completely wasted any hype he had going from Brooklyn Girls and that XXL Freshman cover.
Fuck, Im playing that track now...its like a nostalgia bomb.
Christ. Dre looks like 50 did in that cancer movie. Dude is aging like a mother fucker all of a sudden.
Forgot all about those TRU albums, I should probably revist those! Ice Cream Man was the shit thoHis peak albums were
TRU - True
TRU - Tru 2 da Game
Ice Cream Man
Ghetto D
West Coast Bad Boyz vol 1 and 2
Down South Hustlaz

He's not on his cycle right now.
Hip hop savior or most anticipated, it's common sense what I am referring to.
Drake, Wiz, and J. Cole are the only new generation artists that have moved solid numbers. And had incredible hype for their albums and big buzz on the internet.
Kendrick got it this year.
Who is building that buzz and anticipation to capitalize next year?

Lance Reddick!
But really heard that the death of his son is still messing him greatly
For real, I honestly kinda am sad. One, Dre finally looks mortal.Makes me realize my hip hop idols are getting old... Two, I cant imagine what losing your son is like.

First time hearing that but damn I can imagine that hurted him a lot...it's really a terrible thing to see parents having to bury their children.
It's going to be weird to lose an artist from the golden years of hip-hop to natural causes..
Dam Em is 40. I don't want to be like this,i don't want to really hurt no feelings, but i'm only being real when i say nobody wants to hear their grandfather rap. jk happy late bday Em!

40?? Shit. How old is Dre??

Hip-Hop needs older artist to make music in order to grow.I don't see anything wrong with older artists still making music, as long as it's still good. Unlike Cool J's "Ratchet", that just sounds like a reach at attempting to sound relevant.
He looks alot older?? Also Snoop and Em the same age just seems weird. I guess snoop being in the game longer just makes him seem older

It's still fairly young, but if it wants to grow like Rock and Roll and other forms of music having the greats around to tour and what not will be good
Also was talking to friend about this but the history isn't really well looked after because Hip-hop morphs so much year by year.. it is "stabled" out the last few but an artist couldn't really do a cover to an older song without sounding way out of place unless you are Diddy
Snoop always looked like an old man...

I have no problem either. I am very glad Em is still around.
No doubt. Em doesnt get much love around here but that latest album was great.
