Shit, even then, Q is eating for sure. People thought he wouldn't have a successful album, wouldn't finish the tour, album was touted as the worst shit ever. Thinking his next album will be HnC great.

Amazing album. Still impressive even after the 100th listen. It's like 2 guys from the year 5000 sent back in time to rap over jazzy and dark boom bap.

Hardcore fans will definitely buy it but so much time has passed and their last official album was a clunker. Maybe the it being the last Wu album will cause it to move more units but I'm having doubts.

I want it to do well but I can't ignore reality

syph - we in the same place right now...didn't wanna get into this much right now but this last week, i broke up with my girl of nearly 9 years, fam. shit was one of the hardest things ive had to do but it was no longer healthy & we both needed some changes, starting with that.

i was down too but can't stay that way, it was my decision & all and there's a lot that needs focusing on, you know? as far as the friends thing, no doubt it's possible but i'm trying to take it very slow before even looking down that road; rush it and you'll be right back or just end up burning it, i think.

it's your call, i'd say mash if you can for catharsis if that works for you man; if not, don't - last thing you need right now is more complications. anyway fam we both gonna be alright, just keep movin one day at a time.

Tangentially related but anyone have recommendations for good value PC speakers? Don't have a ton of money to spend (a few hundred is doable), but I'd like a sub. No surround, don't have the set-up for it.

Also, keep your head up man. You'll be alright.

New Wu...yea it won't sell great but everything gets a boost from Black Friday, especially established brands. At least they'll be out for Christmas but still...missed opportunity. I wonder what type of deal they got btw. I can't imagine RZA signing a 360 since it wouldn't hurt him as much as the group lol. Outside of RZA and Meth I get the impression that the Wu is broke. At least Deck made some dough on the independent route with Czarface.

Alright let me convince you first that most of the subs that come with the bookshelf/desktop sets are quite underwhelming and don't really add anything at all, especially in comparison to the really good speaker sets in the range. Here are some suggestions in your range:

Swan D1080-IV
Refurbished Pair of BX5 D2s

Or basically make your own setup with an amp and passive speakers like this

Topping T22 or Dayton Audio DTA-120 + Pioneer BS22 or Cambridge S20 or Micca MB42X or Fluance SX6

I really like the Swan set if you don't want to mess around with an amp and passive speakers. However, the awesome thing about buying a passive set is that you can come back and add a subwoofer later if you want to make them sound even better.

My parents called me and told me to come over and I see this.

My stupid ass brother was driving drunk and rear ended a truck going 60. As if that wasn't bad enough he tried to get out of his car and run only to get tackled by someone. He's 19 as well so that fool is in serious trouble.
