I'm Goin In might still the hardest Drake verse.

That song still goes as hard today as it did like 5 plus years ago or whatever.

caco still wrong, except for that bit about Drake sounding like he's trying too hard on Worst Behaviour. Video makes it even more cringeworthy.

Can't help but cringe every time Drake plays up on the whole adopted-son-of-the-south shit either. Just compounds with all the other shit he does to seek validation. Take Care had UGK, NWTS had Wu Tang Forever, I bet Views From The 6 will have a song called OutKast or something talking about how rappers tried to outcast him from the industry, but who cares cause the bitches love me.

The Calm is Drake's best song

S/O's to all the pears outchea hustlin

I got Logic Pro X last night and dabbled with it a bit

Shit went nowhere fast. Looked up some tutorials and I'm still getting a bit confused because the version they're using in the video isn't the newest version and yea.

I prefer NWTS to Take Care honestly. I hate the features and overly poppy feel of some of the songs, it throws off the whole vibe. Has just a few good ass songs in between a lot of mediocrity.

Overall sound and structure of NWTS feels better to me. New Drake song is okay, not feeling it a ton, 0-100 is still that shit though.

I've warmed up to Thank Me Later. Used to hate it with a passion, but even if it's not cohesive the shit has jams. Really high consistency of good songs in general.

Worst Behavior is one of Drake's best songs.

NWTS is my album of 2013.

Every Drake album that comes out sets the bar for being his best album, and he pushes it further and it kinda makes me reflect on his previous work in a worse way. Take Care seemed like a classic to me until I heard NWTS, and then NWTS lol.

New song is ok.

I like all sides of Drake. I think he's a really good artist.

This year's GAF-Hop AotY awards are going to be interesting. Gonna be much more interesting considering major artists didn't get that much love this year, whether they dropped or not.

My guess is Pinata will be very high. Beyond that, who knows.

Shown love for Thank Me Later and The Ecstatic in one page... I can't...
You're damn right. Escstatic is so much better though.

Pinata is going to be up there for me.

Even though, RTJ 2 isn't out yet, it's likely to be high on the list too, if the rest of it is as good as those singles.

Been real quiet from the Majors though... Unless somebody pulls a Beyonce, which I doubt, I don't know if anybody major drops anything this year.

We're not getting anything from the "majors". I definitely believe RTJ2 will be top 5 this year. 3 singles were fantastic, and it has a lot of momentum going at this point. Only 8 more days until it drops.

2014 AOTY will be interesting for sure (Pinata will probably get it).

A good number of these albums will appear on my list as well, but shit, the top five for this year is going to hard for me to choose (I think it's been a good year in hip-hop/rap, but that's just me)

I play Cilvia much much much more than I play Pinata. I love Cyhi's project so much, but I really think the lower bitrate is affecting how I feel about it because I can barely stand to listen to it with headphones.

Cilvia is gonna be up there for me. It's passed the longevity test, since I also still listen to it or tracks off it on a regular basis. The test of time is probably the biggest sign of a good album. I don't think I could do a top ten of albums I really feel that way about yet. Got plenty of the more underground shit to catch up with but so far there aren't a lot of projects that have really stuck with me after the first few listens.
