Let me know what y'all think, I've been lurking in these thread for a while and have been really inspired by a lot of your stuff!

Ah,Cinque Terre <3. Cool stuff

Some mighty impressive stuff in here, I need to up my game, I recently bought a DSLR, maybe I'll join a photography group and learn how to use to it's full potential.

I've been shooting a lot on 35mm lately. It's so much fun. Your whole thought process changes while shooting. You're more focused and precise. And don't forget the joyous moments when you get your pictures back from the lab and you can finally see your work. Not to mention the glorious aesthetic that film gives. I don't think I can go back.

Good to see more people using film on here! If you like the feeling of getting your pictures back from the lab you will love processing them yourself, and it's so much cheaper!

I can imagine! Though in all honesty I'm a bit lazy and developing your own film seems like way too much hassle lol.

Is that Downers Grove? Gotta be, right?

I went to North HS a few blocks from there. I remember bowling for 50 cents a game at Tivoli on Sunday mornings.

Yeah! It's right next to the train station. I live in one of the nearby suburbs and that is along my "route" when I go ride my bike. It's a neat theater too, very old school.

Between the two heads on the right

yup, its almost like a third head.

Should be easy to fix. If your camera has a sensor clean function just hold the camera lens down and turn that function on.

Cool. Your iphone stuff is great but looking forward to seeing what you've shot with the dslr.

Haven't been doing much photography lately, dang chest pain makes me all paranoid about going out and taking pictures. UGH.

Pringles how are you liking that Nikon D7200?
Scary, what's up with that chest pain?

And I haven't really got any complaints about the 7200. I guess the one thing would be that the top LCD display is kinda downgraded from the 7k. But I'm getting used to it. Been really pleased with the shots I've gotten out of it so far.

Bought myself a remote trigger and wanted to try my hand at star trails. Always wanted to but have never had the opportunity, so I gave it a shot while in Lake Powell this week. They didn't turn out amazing or anything like that, but I'd say it's a decent first attempt. Definitely want to explore more about it with different techniques, combining images, etc. These are 1hr+ exposures so noise, slight camera shake, etc. are all factors to consider. I believe those are things that get ironed out when you begin to overlay 30 second exposures, correct? /ramble

And a bonus Great Wall shot:
