I mad I can't see the videos because I didn't have time but surely the album is a 10/10. There's not one song I don't like... I mean Beyoncé.. AOTY... Simple as that.

But Lorde, she has stood and even slayed with her new song. What kind of blessed way to end 2013. Bey straight up said, 2013 doesn't end until I say it does. Wow.

I like the album a fair bit, although it's not amazing -- the way she megaton'd the release and immaculately swept aside the naysayers is, however. This is something I'll probably listen to occasionally over the next few months rather than binging on immediately like with many other pop songs/albums.

It's miles ahead of anything else the major pop girls put out this year, that's for sure.

It remains to be seen whether Beyoncé has just “changed the game,” as some are asserting (see below), but she’s definitely changed the look of next week’s sales chart. At this point, we’re projecting 200k+ for the album’s first three days of availability, enough to push Garth Brooks to #2. Can she hit 300k? (12/13a)
