And I can use that with any baseband version?
It's a big file size so I imagine it flashes a new baseband/radio buuuuut if I were you I would return to stock baseband

so my phone apparently has an unknown Radio, even though I re-flashed it with the original one. Does that mean I will never get the OTA? Mine's a takju.

So Google use people as Guinea Pigs? Since they don't opt in to be first to get the OTA Update. Doesn't seem right.
Also not all iOS updates are beta tested outside of Apple, only the major ones. However the smaller updates are still pushed to everyone at the same time.

Flashed the yakju OTA, now having a play around. ADW EX seems to be spazzing out a bit, may have to revert to stock launcher

I'm on a Toro and cotdam the difference from Vicious V5 to their AOSP V1 build is huge. It actually does feel like butter. I'm impressed.

Guys, just root and flash the Vicious V1 AOSP ROM that was just released today. It's completely stock and is fuh-lying.

I am tempted to root. I did so on my Mytouch 4G. It was intimidating but not difficult to do. I might wait a week and if no update then I think I will do it.

How did they get the ota for Verizon?
They didn't, that's an ICS update they got a few days ago.
Haha thanks for clarifying. I was looking at this confused as hell, saying "where is the 4.1.1 AOSP? Looks like Vicious' AOSP is the closest we get for now.

it's actually a security feature.
if unlocking the phone didn't wipe data, someone who found your locked and passworded phone could simply unlock the bootloader and get to your data.
Yup, that's why it should be the first thing you do if the thought of roms/rooting even crosses your mind.

It didn't really cross my mind, when I got the phone and if Google wasn't so slow and lame and would just push that update out, I wouldn't even have to type this.
