Got my midnight black s8+ pre-ordered.

Now to figure out which case to get. Any bumpers available for this?

Should have went in to a store to check one out, but the 6.2 inch is much smaller than I originally thought. Not much bigger than the 6s+. Definitely feels right.
 
Got my order in, regular edge and my wife a plus.

Saw them in person, bit shocking they are thinner than s7 edge. Rather be wider tbh.

Probably for the best I've had issues with one hand texting on my s7 edge with my small hands.

Yup, this is what I did. In person, it's almost the exact same size as a Note 5, but more narrow with a slightly taller frame.
 
Went to Best Buy to try out both models, and ended up preordering the S8+. In the end, the S8+ just felt better in the hands, which surprised me since I'd say my hands aren't that big. Holy balls does that screen look great though, can't wait to try out the Gear VR with it.
 
Went ahead and preordered the S8. I thought about the Plus, but with the Note coming, I couldn't justify paying $130 on JOD at TMo. Both phones are incredible in person. I can't get over how stunning it is.
 
Pre-ordered the S8+, midnight black. Girl who took my order told me I could pick it up in 3 to 5 days. Free VR too.

Is the VR anything great? Never used it.

I got that samsung clear s-flip case or w/e it's called. The one that protects your screen and also lets you see basic info like the time/missed calls. Plus works as a kickstand. I've always gotten the wallet leather covers, but figured I better get one that works as a kickstand and has other functionalities.
 
I have been using the phone for the last 48 hours for work and yeah I dig it. I had been using a s7 edge before and the screen is just so damn great on the 8plus.

I'm guessing financed through carrier? Damn phones are so expensive.

I actually just bought a J5 yesterday, cause I have a fantastic monthly plan that I would have to give up. Maybe in a couple of years.

I'm pretty sad I can't get the blue s8 in the US. WHY?!?!?!

The s8 still interests me.

My first Android was S4. Now I'm using the Note 5 but I don't ever use the stylus so Im thinking s8 might be worth.

However, it sucks they went with the Edge models exlusively but I hope they're improved from the S6 edge - my gf had that phone and it was meh. Pictures make the s8 look sexy.

To end it, I'm not due for an upgrade with Verizon yet because I bought the Note 5 around Black Friday 2015 so I have a good 7 months left
 
Available for around $830 USD for pre-order in Saudi Arabia. Sadly, this time the pre-order bonus is a wireless charger, clear cover, screen protector and a travel kit. Would've loved a Gear VR with Motion Control

I'm currently using Xperia Z5 Premium (after upgrading from Z2), but the Z5 Premum has disappointed much.

Whenever I got the chance to use my dad's S7 Edge, the smoothness and fast response of the phone plus the look and all captivated me.

Going to pre-order the S8+, been more than a year to have changed a phone.

Need more detail on the Orchid Grey colour...
 
Anyone thinking of adding on the AKG headphones and 256GB sd card for $100? Seems like a pretty good deal. Hopefully these things aren't extremely limited and I can claim it when I receive the phone on the 25th or so.
 
Man the S8 looks so nice

and here I am with my S7 like some sort of poor. If there is definitely no iPhone SE revamp this year then it looks like I am jumping in

Sounds like a damn good deal considering the price of SD cards. Id need to see which SD card it is though

I think the iPhone to Samsung experience is terrible. A lot of the conveniences you enjoy on an iOS device such as immediate customer service at any Apple store location evaporate. Also, based on their last release I'd wait a month or so to see his the hardware/software shakes out.

These phones also don't retain their value which is important to me.

Samsung phones do retain their value. Compared to an iPhone it retains less but it is on top in terms of android.

good points... but i'm missing android tbh, i cant even jailbreak my ip7 to change my icons and its doing my head in lol
 
Preordered at Tmobile store this morning. Getting it sent to my house. Tmobile hooked me up with a wireless charger, memory card and case. Didn't want any of it but free is good.

Are you sure that it is free? Because sometimes it seems that way, and they put it on your bill as monthly installments.

These phones are fine, not a fan of selling phones. In the wrong hands, your data is compromised. I made the switch from the 6s to the s6. The only thing I really missed was apple music, as the android app sucks, but I use it anyway. Samsung Pay wound up being so good that I stuck with it and used it everywhere, and the display is just soo good. Can't wait for the s8+.

Samsung pay is an excellent feature.
 
While bar far the most disappointing thing is the finger print reader location, I really do think that the Iris scanner will leave people satisfied if they actually try to use it as their main method. I don't think I would mind not using the finger print scanner much - just when I'm unlocking when it's dark.

I also had no idea that there was still at heart rate sensor. I don't recall any impressions mentioning that... Great job tech journalists..
 
This prob has been asked more than a couple of times forgive me. I'm in the states and am looking to buy unbranded from the UK, will there be any issues here in the states?

Really interested in the screen area dock feature available in the multitasking options, they demo it @ 8:15 mins in ... Really makes use of the long aspect ratio of the screen.

Personally I'm loving how slimmer the s8 is over the S7 edge. Want
