Howard Stern was always pro-choice, pro-prostitution, and pro-pornography, so I don't know in what sense he would ever be considered as conservative. He used to have more right-leaning listeners, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that he was ever a conservative because he mocked liberal types.

Yet we exist. We must continue and move forward and make decisions about how to run our country. Even though we are so divided.

You speak as if any decision we could make would be folly. You hold us to a very high standard. We will meet it.

An assassin killed a man. He killed him for his political beliefs during a very polarized time in our country. This is unacceptable. Cultures of assassination over words are morally bankrupt. Nearly everyone in the country understands this. We just want to anger each other with our own words any way we can so it forces either side into unenviable positions and it makes for dark headlines. It's political but also personal. It is a dark time but it isn't forever. This won't last forever.

Well, I mean you can do whatever you like, me, I'm not going to suffer/stop enjoying something just because a very small number of devs on a dev team of hundreds posted something I don't like. There are many things we buy that we know something inhumane or whatever goes on but we buy anyway (and that is much worse than the twitter post). My opinion about boycotting this type of thing is its very much cutting off your nose to spite your face, you aren't harming the dev who posted it by not buying the game as they have already been fired and that is who you should be angry at not their (ex) employer.

But again, that's personal choice so you can obviously do whatever you think is right.

It's not about firing the employee for me. It's about how the last six years these corporations bent over backwards for every single left leaning social talking point like pride, blm, etc etc and paraded it for political points but the moment the left grave dances and celebrates a political assassination they want to remain silent and try to sweep their mess under the rug. They didn't stay out of politics in the past when it was convenient for them and now they want to remain silent while their employees are all over blue sky liking posts promoting political violence.

Microsoft made a statement and then Bethesda had the balls to instantly do what Microsoft said they don't tolerate and were their repercussions?

Sony fired the highly outspoken developer and tried to quietly confirm it via kotaku but did they do anything about all the other SP employees or Bungie employees pulling the same crap? No. I'm not asking for Sony to fire everyone who doesn't agree with me. But I am asking for Sony to draw a line in the sand. Their refusal to draw that line (to me) is nothing but a wink wink nudge nudge to their far left employees telling them it's alright, just wait for it to blow over.
