Kinda funny, from the leaks. These were changes made in the 90s(?) to localize the games to the west. 1990s Christians and today's "liberals" are pretty much one and the same.
From a mythologic point of view it's not that bad, but I've never played pokemon games so I'm not aware of the official lore.
Of course that's not something you can feed to children in any media, especially in these godforsaken times, but if you treat those "legends" as building blocks for new stories they are useful, like show bibles for cartoons or movies that often dwell deeply in the world they try to create. Oftentimes a lot of details are never showed or explained to the audience, they're simply there for writers to build upon.
Looks like one of the items found in the leak was a working PC developer build of Pokemon Legends Z-A. The next cross-gen Pokemon for Switch 1/next-gen device.
That's just how the sausage is made. Pikmin on the Game Cube accidentally shipped with a PC build on the disk.
