Game Maker's Toolkit: How Nintendo Solved Zelda Open World Problem

Love this stuff, never thought about the triangle thing. Very clever way to separate a cohesive world into "levels".

Not sure if this was at the same time, but I also remember seeing how they started out experimenting with all the systems in a classic Zelda environment:


I wouldn't mind getting a 2D Zelda that has all the systems of BotW included. Looks neat.
