He's supposedly been sacrificing generations of kids no? Yet we only see like 3 white walkers.
I mean, he's got like 19 daughter-wives, I think, so law of averages say he's probably pumped out ~19 boys along the way.

If he does die then it'll mean that Bran spills the beans about his laundry list of betrayals, this has been foreshadowed already this season. You know, everybody is predicting LF is dying next episode. I can't help but think of how unjust of a death that will be.
Dude has always been a tricky snake, and for him to go out to two kids, in Winterfell, in between a lame ass period of time where Sansa is casually holding down the fort before her bro comes back.... it's going to suck lol. Went from a really important player in the background to a thorn in the side that's going to get brushed off.
They did resolve it... There was a scene showing White Walkers performing some sort of a ritual with the baby and turning its eyes blue. Obviously they weren't making it a wight, as creepy as that would be a baby wight would be useless in combat, so it was meant to tell us 'this is where the WWs come from' (other than the NK). Craster was sacrificing his boys to the WWs so that they leave him alone.

I was the one who said Sansa would sit on the throne first fam, get in line ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Calling it now! If Sansa manages to survive next week she'll win the game of thrones. Also Tormund will marry Brienne, the new Hand of the Queen. Gingers win.

I think Bran taking LF out would be fitting because:
A: It'd be sweet vengeance considering LF tried to frame his murder.
B: It'd prove that LF is literally so perfect and devious that it took a motherfuckin TIME WIZARD to finally undo his web of lies.
It was very much in character. He wanted to take on the NK singlehandedly. Jon hasn't cared about his own life for quite some time now, and even before his first death he was pretty eager to put himself in harm's way.Lol the director said the reason Jon didn't get on the dragon was in it is in Jon's nature to be this dumb. Jon's action was a while nother level of stupidity. Let's not being that guy back on to direct.
Maybe she hasn't forgotten about them, but literally everyone has forgotten that the Dornish army is completely untouched, yet they were written off as a loss because their leaders died apparently.

It makes sense that only two characters can actually kill him:
- manhattan cripple who doesn't seem to give a fuck about his own fam,
- Sansa makes sense since she's been studying the best liars in the entire series, on top of being personally taught by the best for the last few seasons. On top of that, she's hsi only weakness, literally the only person he gives a fuck about. It's not a coincidence that as soon as mama Stark dies, LF plots and kills the King of the 7 Kingdoms for it.
Maybe Varys and Tyrion as a double team, but Tyrion based on this season might as well get outsmarted by fucking Hodor the way he's been going about things.

They apparently grew up within a few years and become old WW grandpas. We also know now after last episode that WW can control wights but their range is much more limited than the NK'sYeah but what does it mean that the baby is turning blue-eyed? Will he grow up to be a white talker? Do they have teen angst?
They showed at least one night passing. However, they really should have showed them basically camping out multiple nights. Would have been a great time to actually have some neat conversations between the group.
That's basically my gripe with this entire season. It's not hard to make people buy into the suspension of disbelief if you actually make an actual effort in showing the details of time passage.
Where did that fleet come from? Well, it was a secondary fleet, possibly split off, you can tell because the flagship wasn't present in the ambush of Casterly Rock.
How long has passed overall? Well, that's a good question, but if you compare scenes from Dragonstone and Kingslanding, you can see the area rapidly changing due to winter accelerating and crops/plants hibernating and dying. As well as character features like hair, beards growing as they travel. (This would have been pretty useful with Jamie going back to Kings Landing, I don't remember noticing anything different than his armor, that for some reason he was still wearing, being messed up)
How far did they actually travel beyond the wall, how did Gandry get back so fast? Well, we don't know the exact distance, but you can see the sled has been getting smaller with every scene, showing that they have been exhausting what supplies they have brought for the trip. Maybe they could have been laying spikes as they traveled, marking every mile of travel and an easy track to get back to Eastwatch in the event of a hasty retreat. Or bringing horses, like they always do with The Watch.
Taylor's not flat-out bad or anything, he's just laser-focused on scenes he wants to do.
He really wanted to do the scene with the Hound throwing the rock at the Wight and the undead army slowly ramping up across the ice. (And it's a really well-shot scene, admittedly.) He went through some serious logical convolutions to make it happen.
He really wanted to do the Viserion opening his blue eyes scene. Again, a very well-shot and effective scene, it's just he may not have really wanted to put in all the appropriate "work" to get there.
He just needs an assistant to string together the points between his big keystone scenes, which are super good. He doesn't seem to have a ton of interest in doing so himself and just goes through the motions to bridge the gaps.
Apologies.
A lot of people seem to overlook Sansa cuz she doesn't have crazy superpowers like the rest of the Starks, but I think she's gonna have a Cersei Jr. moment. Unless Arya slaughters her next week and makes me feel dumb. lol
I guess it makes sense, but it seems off that a dude who was playing everyone to get the throne has been stuck with the Stark kids and making little progress.
I guess I always expected more from him and he lost all that mystery a while ago.
Speaking of Varys, I have to assume he's going to eat it soon since thats what the Red Woman said.

How is that even remotely the same as what Jaime did? Jaime charged a dragon with a spear, Dany would charge a human-sized enemy with three full-grown dragons. A human-sized enemy she knows can be killed by dragonglass and Valyrian Steel and what do Valyrian Steel and Dragonglass have in common? They're both made with the help of dragonfire. Anyone with half a brain would at least try to see if dragonfire can kill them as well.
Also, about the second point, is it really so surprising people want more from the Night King? The entire show (like the books) was built on the philosophy that there is no absolute good and evil and that being heroic or lorally good will more than often lead to your demise, something the writers seem to have completely forgotten.
The Cersei Tyrion is trying to convince Dany they should plan for, contrasted with the actual Cersei waiting for them in KL.
Your sister is a fucking psycho you dumb idiot. Tyrion for the love of god, stop treating your sister like she's a sane, rational human being. If they don't ask where Ellaria is, what has been done to her, and if they can have her back, this meeting is dumb as hell (dumber than it actually already is).

In some ways, hes just death, coming for everyone in the story, coming for all of us. In some ways, its appropriate he doesnt speak. Whats death going to say? Anything would diminish him. Hes just a force of destruction. I dont think weve ever been tempted to write dialogue for the Night King. Anything he said would be anticlimactic."

But that was Bran, Jon or Rhaegar most likely.
Holy crap I completely forgot Rickon died, I was wondering where the little bastard was and then oh yeah he's dead.
I 100% agree with you that it's foolish to expect Cersei to react rationally, but I sorta, kinda understand Tyrion a little tiny bit. He has seen the humanity in Cersei, they did actually have a few tender scenes between them in the past.

Also, watch the scenes above for a reminder why Cersei and Tyrion was the best pairing on the show. It's the reason I'm so excited for the finale, they'll finally talk to each other again.
Almost all of Cersei's humanity revolved around her children, and now her children are all dead (well she has new one on the way). Hell Tyrion of all people should know what Cersei is capable of, she was after all the one who demanded his trial and execution, and was responsible for using his own lover against him. We're now living in a post Sept world. Tyrion is being uncharacteristically stupid. Not only that, Tyrion just recently made good faith negotiations with much saner actors than Cersei, and was played like a harp.
Tyrion and Varys are one of the low points this season.
I hate how Varys isn't mysterious anymore. There's no sense that he could be dangerous if need be. He's all about the 'good of the realm' and that's it.

This is why you don't have a bloody politician (who suddenly has become an idiot) running your war campaign.
In all fairness, he's been pulling for the good of the realm since S1.

The Dany vortex has been pretty rough on other characters for most of the show. That plus full speed ahead really hasn't served them well.I agree, and I hate that. They are some of my fav characters, and they have been severely marginalized this season. They are ineffectual and exist only to provide (some) context for the actions of more "important" characters.
I hope this is turned around.
Ya, I can't really argue here. Tyrion's been acting dumb all season. Every suggestion he's made to Dany has led to one disaster after another. It's like he's still working with the Lannisters even though he technically isn't.
Thinking back, he screwed things up badly in Mereen too. Trusting the Masters left the city wide open for attack. If Dany didn't come back, her whole empire would have crumbled.
Honestly speaking, what has Tyrion done for Dany, other than be a thorn at her side?

where is that second gif from? a blooper?
True, but you always felt he had/could have ulterior motives too. And could be very dangerous if need be.
But now he's all about Dany and that's it. One of the poorer turns of a character IMO.
where is that second gif from? a blooper?
And that's why I shake my head when people get upset that Dany (since his suggestions started falling apart) is questioning him more and more. Wouldn't you? Grey Worm and Missandei continuously warn him that they can not trust the Masters, but he's all like, "nah I know what I'm doing." What happens? The Masters do exactly what he was told they would do.
Notice how Dany right off the bat vouches for Tyrion and tells her allies that Tyrion is her Hand, and thus commands and deserves respect? Buddy is preaching about being smarter than your enemies, and seeing things from their perspective, so that you can one up them. Yet he himself doesn't follow (or is really shitty at it) any of his own suggestions. So he stands there with a dumb look on his face every time Dany rightfully questions his plans. Same Tyrion that gave us that masterful fuckery that revealed that Paycell was Cersei's plant, same Tyrion that beautifully got rid of Ser Janos Slynt, is now a brooding, wrong advice giving dumbass. It's making me so mad lol. God, please send him Bronn so we could get him out of this funk. Bronn would have told him, "ah strike at the Keep, and let's get this shit wrapped up and done with!"
Surely LF has plot armor? He hasn't had enough of an impact on the show.
