Worst season of the show so far, minus episode 8. I also don't think for a second Jon is dead. Mellisandre being at the wall is too convenient.

Longshot prediction. At the wall, they place Jon's body on a funeral pyre and light it. Miraculously, he arises from the flames, unburnt. Camera slowly focuses on a shadowy figure in the background to reveal Mel standing there chanting some witch magic nonsense. Reborn in fire with his Targareyn blood, and to lead the living against the White Walkers.

Speaking of Davos, he's pretty much the only "good" person to route for now, right? Ultimatly, Davos has shown that he capable of raising an army -albeit a small one- on behalf of Stannis, so it'd be interesting to see what he'd do unchained from that loser.

Pretty entertaining episode but there was WAAAAAAYYYYY too much going on. I do not and never will understand why they could not have shared around a lot of the plot climaxes earlier in the season. Cersei's walk could have been placed in Ep7-9 and it would have worked better and allowed more time to flesh out the other story lines. Bah.

Agreed. Pacing this season was shit and a half. They had nothing going on for like 5-6 episodes and then felt like they rushed through everything at breakneck speed.

I'm 100% confident Stannis is alive. So is Sansa and Reek. They weren't shown and there is no reason not to show only for next season to say yes they are dead. No reason not to show him getting killed, it's not like they're afraid to show how gruesome the show is.

Jon is the big wildcard here. I have to agree on pacing. Cersei's walk of shame or Arya's ultimate kill could have been done episode 9. Still up there as the 2nd best episode 10 by far of the season. Maybe even the best, I need more time to think about it.

I hated all of the faceless men plot this season. Watching Arya go through her training was like the worst kind of cut-rate Mr Miyagi bullshit. Now the answer to how their secrets work is just "oh its magic"? I mean she didn't even get taught anything. Now they just have these magic faces or something. But now it also lets them voice change and change height / physical characteristics. Also they can all perfectly detect lying somehow.

Ollie needs to be eaten by Jon's wolf (What's going to happen to him as well? ) too. Fucking obvious that little shit was gonna do something stupid. Despite what Kit says there are too many pieces in play that could lead to a revive for Jon and I think - hope - it will happen.

Glad to see the Mountain return. Cersei's revenge is gonna be sweet.

The training is to essentially hollow out your own personality. Arya resisted it. She was taught, she just didn't want to follow through on it yet.

I'm not convinced. Feels like they could be setting up for a new arc next season. They could just phase him out until the training is done, but I'm having a difficult time believing that.

So yeah if we have a new arc of Sam training next season it just feels pretty useless with Jon gone. What's he going to do, return to the wall without Jon there to have his back anymore? I'm having a hard time picturing him having a place on the show going forward unless there's a twist to Jon's death.

well..if you wasn't looking at her face (like I wasn't) it's hard to tell it was CGI (but once you look at her face, it's obviously CGI). besides, Lena was totally pregnant during that scene, which would explain the CGI.
