Well I mean, she looks unnaturally tall compared to everyone else so it looks slightly odd when she gets intimidated by people who are a head shorter than her. It's not like they couldn't just use some camera angles to not make her look 4 inches taller than Lena Headey.

If you absolutely do not want to read the books though, I still strongly recommend that you at least read all Arya and Davos chapters from the 2nd book, and the chapter where Catelyn releases Jaime. You're really missing out on a lot of the story if you haven't read them. I feel bad for anyone that likes Arya in the show and doesn't get to know about all of the awesome stuff she did in CoK that was cut from the show.

Any book readers disagree that those are the chapters to read for show watching-only fans who may just want to read a few chapters?

No, of course you shouldn't skip the books that have already been televised. The show is not in any way representative of the books, and you'd be missing out on a ton of information and characterization.

Exactly. Benioff in interviews comes off as someone who's been knee-deep in production and tired, trying to find the heart of the story and busting his ass. Weiss comes off as someone who just left the bathroom to come onto set after sweating over some Japanese maid porn.

Well they want to make it obvious it's a show for adults. Cable can sometimes get away with violence or swearing, sometimes even extreme, but it's only premium cable where a pair of breasts can flop out.
