That's what I'm scared of, I'm the worlds biggest Patchface fan so finding out that he isn't important is annoying. I know, I know, oh, oh, oh.

I'm going to take the risk and assume it's fine for multiple reasons, but mostly because the picture makes me laugh.

I didn't mind and I'm sure it doesn't matter. Was saying it just in case someone else started complaining. People can get touchy in here.

I'm such an Arya fanboy but I'm afraid to express it due to fear of looking/sounding creepy about it.

What exactly are you planning to "express"?

goddamn the salt wife is gross in episode 2. that's not just 'inflated nerd-ego' type commentary, she is legitimately URGH!? I almost gagged. Melisandre is super hot confirmed. Also, I dunno, I would hit Asha... I mean, "Yara". She is super ugly in that commercial, and she sort of seemed...I dunno. Maybe it's by comparison to the salt wife, but now she didn't seem so un-fuckable :p This is my pervy commentary on pervy episode 2.

[EP. 2]
I missed "it tastes salty"... but yeah, she was fugly. And I agree about Asha/Yara, I found her attractive in the episode. And... of course, Melisandre <3

Episode 2/ACOK
I'm still not entirely convinced by Stannis (especially that scene O_O), but Balon Greyjoy was excellent and Davos was great as well. I kind of wish they didn't have to make plots that were only hinted at in the books so explicit on television, then again I guess they have to introduce these characters somehow. I noticed that there was no Robb or Bran at all in this episode, so I'm guessing they're going to feature prominently in the next one - and Renly? They haven't even got to Stannis sailing south yet (though they now have Salla's ships) so news of his arrival might end the 3rd episode. We know that the Davos/Melisandre scene is in the show from the trailers, so hopefully Storm's End will feature somehow. I hope they don't change that part so that it's Renly she's murdering... Renly should already be dead by that point, so hopefully it turns out that way.

Maise Williams deserves an emmy end of discussion. The only thing I would have done differently is more cat scenes:

This may have been mentioned before but... <EP2>
Why did they change her name from Asha to Yara (or whatever it was)?

Isaac H. Wright didn't have much to work with in the series so far but he made me like Bran more because he looks adorable.

Also, this was cute (notsureifposted):

I didn't notice it at first at the end of that scene

Isaac has been fantastic. A very talented young actor and the most adorable kid ever.

edit: What's going on here, gang signs? They grow up so quickly.

Robert and Joffrey are the two characters I liked more on film than in the books. So enjoyable.

Justin Bieber just aint that good at the moment. But like I said before all these people will probably grow.

lmao! He had his hands relaxed during the meeting, but when he noticed how Luwin had his clenched like that the entire time he decided to imitate him in order to look more respectable for the next guy.

Haha he's not bad.

I also think I'll like Davos and Stannis quite a bit. Davos is one of my favorite characters in this series and they thankfully picked a talented actor to play the part.

Dany, Robb, Jaime, Littlefinger, Snow, Mormont(s), and Twyin TV versions > book versions. Come at me, bros! And Davos will soon be added to that list, I think.

The kid who plays Joffrey is insanely good, I've never hated a kid as much this one in my whole life.

Dany, Robb, Tywin (Charles Dance is just that awesome) and the Mormonts for sure are better than their book counterparts. Jon, Jaime and Littlefinger are about the same as their book versions, not better, but not worse. TV Catelyn is better than book Catelyn. As is the aforementioned Luwin. Most of the other characters are on par with their book versions.

edit: Septa Mordane was also better than the book version. I like to think that she took down two or three of those Lannister guards before they took her head.

edit 2: Thinking about it, I don't like Shae's casting so she may be the only character I like less in the show. Not that I really liked her much in the books either.

Yeah, he's great. Pretty much how I envisioned the character.

Her actress seems pretty bad imo. I didn't like her in the books either, but the actress they chose for this (a (former?) porn actress I think) is pretty much amateur hour. Hopefully she doesn't get too much screen time..

A little ot but the actor that plays Monroe on Grimm is a total got fan:

http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2012/03/30/grimm-star-on-shows-surprise-success/

I watched three episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ and decided, ‘I wanna read this,’” he said. “I just started the fourth book in the series and I love it. People eat and drink and screw and die, and there are these mythological elements all around them, forces beyond their control [not unlike 'Grimm'], and I find that quite compelling.”

Well I wasn't sure if you were referencing me ever since my tumblr gifs rant. :p

Well I was actually referencing you and that thread, but in support. :p

Yes, hells yes, yes, no, yes, no, no. And for Davos: jury is still out.

Littlefinger is nice and sociopathic, but not nearly as sly as the books.
Mormont I still see as Brian Cox.
Tywin we've only seen like twice, but he was underwhelming to me.

The only character I like better in TV-form is Robert Baratheon. That guy was a non-event in the book, nobody cared about him, Mark Addy truly made him his own. He's the only actor that did that with the character they play, as far as I'm concerned. Most everyone else is just going through the motions to be honest. Especially someone like Jon. He's just too stoic, unfeeling, and completely lacking in personality compared to the image I have of Book Jon. A lot of characters in the show share these qualities actually. It's not quite how I pictured the world/cast of ASOIAF.

Well, I pretty much disagree with you completely Jett. Sucks that you feel that way you must really get really pissed off when you watch this show if you dislike that much about it, lol

Glad to hear about the ratings being solid. Hopefully we hear about a renewal soon.

I absolutely love Joffrey's look in this. Completely missed it in the episode. Gleeson is a good actor. Hopefully he's recognized as such later in life.
I'm sure he'll always be recognized as pure evil. The guy is typecast with that face.

He is a good actor though.

But that face was also in Batman Begins.

wat woow thought theire was 7 books anyway how long is the story.

Seven books planned. Five released thus far. Who knows when Martin will get the sixth one out. It took more than a decade for 'Dragons to be released.
