I realize this is a thread for gaming laptops, and I do want the laptop to be usable for that, but it being a good all-rounder for a couple of years to come is slightly more important to me.
The 460M's advantage aside, that 555m is not a "measly" GPU. It's going to be a bit below the 8800 GT, which is still above decent in mobile terms.
