Games you remember, names you don't

So this is going to be a pretty hard one im guessing, but i'd love if someone figure it out.

PC game. Windows 98(or maybe XP). The disc of the game is completely red with a image of someone in a vehicle. I remember the introductory cutscenes was pretty freaky, with some kind of infection thingy that would make parts of the world infested with red.
I can't remember much of the actual gameplay, but there was some kind of vehicle mechanics and there were car tunnels in the game that would act as invisible walls and cars would spaen and despanw from there.

Sorry ii its a bit too vague, I think I've played this at <10 years oldlol, can't remember much but I remember thinking it was fun

Sounds like Blam! Machine Head.

I remember playing this old 3d racing game online. It had ten (eleven?) stages, looked like it belonged on a 32-bit system, stage 6 had an AI designed to wipe out all the other racers and it had some good music. I can't remember the name but I would appreciate if someone did.

So I remember playing this game years ago in where you built a amusement park, but it was completely in 3D and the game was in third person. It was a third person game with free camera. I'm pretty sure it was for PC. Any ideas?
EDIT:
Okay, I found it, it's Thrillville Off The Rails

I'm looking for an indie platformer that's pretty recent where you take photos of parts of the screen, then paste them back onto the screen and then you can jump on them and whatnot. Anyone?

It was on the NES, only played for about five minutes at a friends house.

1. Top down view like Zelda link to the past
2. You flew a helicopter and you had to land it and rescue POWs.
3. The level I played had a desert theme.

I'm looking for this game on the Playstation 2, the main character has a long zigzagy pony tail, carries a katana (Or a some kind of sword), it's a an action game, I think maybe kinda of futuristic world, with a hub world.

Don't know about if it ends up in a futuristic settings or hub world but my guess is Musashi: Samurai Legend - https://youtu.be/Ci6HRkQ0-NU?t=283

I'm looking for an old racing game on MSX. Top down where you drove rather colorful tracks with lots of jumps and some optional routes. If I recall correctly, some animal-inspired car designs, maybe beetles? A bit like Bump 'n Jump but with much more detail and a more Japanese esthetic design-wise. Rather childish/cartoonish, definitely not going for a realistic look.

That was SNES.

It honestly sounds like it, maybe you're misremembering it being on NES, OP?

Otherwise, it sounds like Jackal, but that is a jeep dropping off POWs at a helicopter.

I did a quick Google search and it was Jackal. You were right, it was so long ago I was thinking it was a helicopter.

Thanks!

I think I've found it!

There's this game, I think it's still in development, I've seen it mentioned in several threads about upcoming indies or something.

It's a roguelike RPG-something about a family which goes dungeoneering IIRC. It has some sort of party mechanic.

It racks my mind that I cannot remember the name.

OK, this is going to be a tough one. I'm apologizing in advance for being so vague.

I remember visiting abandonware websites during my childhood and downloading some old games, and there's one in special which I would really like to play again. I don't remember much about it, though.

All I recall is that it had isometric view and you had to enter buildings, kill bad guys and rescue hostages, I think. If I'm not mistaken, everything was kinda small to acommodate more elements on the screen (much like Desert Strike, for example - except that you were on foot).

One of the abandonware websites that I used to visit was Abandonia, but I keep searching in there and can't find this game. >_>

Might be Assault Trooper. Used to play this for a while, loved the simplicity and the destructive environments. I always keep forgetting the name though, I guess because it's just so generic.

Excuse the poor description, but does anyone know the name of a Japanese developed game that was created by and I think targeted at females. I think it was a platformer, it might have had a dream-ish theme, and IIRC it was for either the Dreamcast or Saturn. Not sure if it was ever localized.

Sounds like Napple Tale for the Dreamcast. It's got a fantastic soundtrack and was made by women. Sadly, it was never localized. It's something special though.

I find myself trying to google this game every now and then to no avail, so let's see if someone knows. It was a computer around the 3.1/95 time, it was basically a comic strip maker can't remember if it was licensed or just random superheroes but it was definitely all about plugging heroes into a scene and picking a backdrop and such, nothing to sophisticated just basic stuff for kids. I've searched things like comic strip maker, xmen comic strip maker, and find some stuff but it's not it. :(

Spider Man Cartoon Maker?

Was a Kickstarter game that I can't find anywhere on website. It was a pixel art game with isometric view. Look like it had illuminati influences (all seeing eye, etc). Main character was a girl with what I think was a yellow rain coat. Can't for the life of me remember the name but it was something weird like birth by sleep or some such. Looked really good and I don't even know if it got funded or not. Any help would be great!

So I borrowed a Sega Saturn once and they had this one game I never remember the name of.

It was an isometric game where you were on this boat, and you're transporting this plant monster thing, until it breaks out. You have to find you're way around the boat, though I never played it long enough to get off the boat.

I could look it up of course, but that's no fun. Anyone remember what it is?

Dark Savior?

I remember seeing a trailer for a game a while ago (like within the past year), but I've completely forgot what game it was for. It was some sort of desert setting, possibly post-apocalyptic (I keep thinking it's similar to RAGE), and it had guns and vehicles. The trailer might have been CGI but i'm not sure. From what i remember the trailer was from a first person perspective and involved driving into a small run-down town of some sort, possibly on an ATV, and then there was lots of shooting at enemies on the roofs and behind walls. I think at one point the character ran out of ammo and an enemy runs at them with a melee weapon but is stopped by something else. I know it's not a lot to go on, but anyone have any ideas? It was quite fast paced and may have had a slightly cartoony style.

Radio the Universe - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1548272412/radio-the-universe-0/description

It's one of the few I backed. They put out an update every month or two. Seems to be coming along slowly but surely.

This is actually a flash game I played on Newgrounds a while ago. It was a sidescroller shooter with a bit of RPG elements. Your some guy in space and I you had a dog man as a partner and there were a bunch of other characters, some being female and one of the females died but you could marry the other ones at the end of the game. The final boss was some demon otherworldy cloud monster. You could upgrade weapons and that's about all I remember.

There was a Disney game on NES that had a DQ-ish world map and ripoffs of games like Castlevania when you went to the different areas. The world map played the Disney theme. I can't for the life of me remember anything else about the game but it was such a staple of my childhood

Managed to find it on my own.

It's Children of Morta.

I remember I played a game a long time ago where it was this character action-eqsue game on I think the PS2 where you play as a dude with red hair and can summon monsters to fight with you and I am sure one of the main monsters you use came in pairs of three. There was also a section of the game where you play as a chick who used guns to fight other monsters as well.

This is one that's been in the back of my head for decades now:

Two browser based games, from 97-98 or thereabouts. They were hosted on the same site (I think) and one had a futuristic military theme and the other was a fantasy setting. Both games were mainly text based multiplayer games where you'd get assigned to a server/group together with about 10 or so other players. Each player would be allotted a piece of land and some resources. The game would play out in real time over the course of a week, with a few actions available to you every few hours. You could build units and fortifications, expand your territory or wage war on other players. You could also communicate with the other players through a forum or chat room, where you'd form alliances and pacts. The goal was to conquer the other players territories.

Every week the game would reset with a winner being declared by the end and new servers/groups being assigned.

I think the futuristic military one was called something like Command 2525. I'm pretty sure it had a year in the title anyway. Both games were very similar in their core design with mostly thematic differences.

I remember trying to role play in the fantasy themed one, giving my kingdom a generic fantasy name and speaking in character in the forums (complete with faux Ye Olde English mannerisms). I was such a dork.

I've got an incredibly obscure request. It was an indie game from like 2005-06,
It was Europe in the 17th century, hex based, and I remember that things like forts and iron mines were in. I only played the free version where you were Austria. I can't imagine anyone knows what it is, but I've been looking to play it again for like a decade or so.

A late 90's/early 00's PC Pokemon fan game that had MSPaint like graphics. You would battle Pokemon (maybe trainers?) in a pong/breakout like fashion using your pokeball. They would be standing at the top of the screen doing special attacks and such and you try to hit them with your pokeball. When you beat a pokemon it disappears/you catch it and the screen immediately blinks to the next stage. The game only had sfx and no music.

Earth 2025 and Utopia. I used to play the shit out of Earth 2025 with a few friends. Memories!~
