gamescom 2021 |OT| The ♥ of gaming

Well it has a date. Maybe they literally need the last 3.5 months before they want to show it.

Game's coming in hottttttttttttttt out of the oven.

I don't want to be too pessimistic, but if Halo looks good at release, I'll be surprised.

Halo Infinite has shown the same amount of singleplayer gameplay since it was announced in 2016 ... as CoD Vanguard has shown since it was announced this month.

So Halo is coming in three months, and they have yet to show campaign gameplay, instead showing woke and pointless CGI trailers.

No horse in this race, but ... damn.

Zero campaign gameplay again.... this is just downright embarrassing now. Gameplay better be in tomorrow's Inside Infinite, but why pass up a chance to show it here? So obviously it isn't coming tomorrow. This is fucking ridiculous for a game releasing later this year. What are they waiting on? Are they closing out the show or something? Because this is disgraceful at this stage.

Outrageous.

midnight fight express!

wow summer 2022, though it'll be earlier. Looks killer and day one on gamepass, can't wait

Time to officially get concerned with Halo Infinite. They really don't want to show the SP.
I almost can't blame them. Might as well let people just play it at this point and hope it's fun.

People picked up a bunch of stills of Craig and nuked the game for a year last time.

Cult of the lamb, another game that pretends to understand what made the old Zelda games good but is too lazy in execution to have the same quality so it falls short. Seen a million of these things now.

MS launching limited edition consoles during ongoing stock shortages is hilarious to me.

Kind of wish I had waited to get one of my series X so I could get that Halo one though, not gonna lie.

You know shit is kinda fucked when two random indie games look infinitely more interesting than massive AAA-tentpole titles.

This emphasis on multiplayer without showing campaign footage is slightly worrying. Either they're trying to avoid spoilers, or something else is up.

And I got dog piled by people in the Dec.8 thread after asking what am I getting December 8 for $60 on steam since multiplayer is free? ANd now they show fucking CG trailer for campaign? Unless they are going to do a deep dive in November this whole games PR is a fucking mess.

MFE looks like what this TMNT game should be. Seriously, I'm not getting jazzed about a 2D Turtles game, which doesn't even look like it has the large sprites of the old arcade game. If you're going 2D, do it fucking right, or don't do it at all.

Expects people to pre order consoles and controllers yet can't show campaign gameplay of a game launching in a few months. Talk about taking people for granted.

And the likes of Jez Corden with that tweet yesterday , he fucking knew people want to see campaign and people give these corporate arse lickers money, sick of it.
