Blizzard, the studio that did Starcraft, Warcraft III, and World of Warcraft are hard at work on WOW. Blizzard North (Diablo), is hard at work on Diablo III.olimario said:

With all the defections from Blizzard over the past few years, how many team members are left from the orginal StarCraft days? I'm afraid Blizzard may have lost it's soul with all the old timers leaving. I hope not, as it has been one of the most consistently good designers over the past decade plus, but we'll have to wait to see if the magic will continue with out the people that made Blizzard what it is today.

Yep! The no monthly fee is a big one for me, and it is very smooth. Definetly getting GW at launch. It's going to replace NeverWinter Nights as our weekly RPG Friday Night Game Sessions amongst my group of friends.

After seeing the sales that Halo 2 garnered...

XNA and all it's surely a tempting prospect to both MS and Blizzard.
Put it this way if MS aren't doing all they can to get Diablo 3 on Xenon then they deserve to get humped by PS3.
IMO Diablo 3 on Xenon would be as big as Halo 3...

Diablo III won't be on the Xbox 2/360/Xenon, but some spinoff will.
Swingin' Ape Studios has signed on to collaborate on many titles based on Blizzard licenses. I just hope that things remain unexclusive, with ports to all three systems. I don't want to buy all 3 systems next gen, at least not at the get go.
Also, StarCraft 2 is going to be a while in coming. They want Ghost to drop first. Besides, in Blizz's minds, they just released War3, then a MMORPG, and probably don't want to release another RTS right away. Currently, Blizzard South is creating the expansions for WoW. Once the expansions are set in stone, you'll hear of SC2.
