.People will be more inclined to buy their bundles closer to holidays.
Dirty? Just because they want to have more traffic in their store at a period that is known that many people buy different products?I don't actually know if this is clickbait or not, but just in case I tagged it as such. Does anyone know more about this than this article?
If this is true, why not just go ahead and sell them? They will be sold either way, right? Seems kinda dirty in a way I am not sure how to explain.

Uh ... or they would prefer to be able to satisfy more of their customers during the busiest shopping period of the year. They do this to manage stock holder expectations.
If they have good sales cause they received all thier units way before Christmas but none during Christmas, the heavy sales before but not during the traditionally heavy sales weeks in December will be seen as failing the important weeks before Christmas and stockholder’s will call them out as failing during the designated holiday sales dates. They hold onto it until Black Friday so the sales appear in the days they measure specifically over previous years then they will trigger thier bonus clauses for maintaining or going above thier sales expectations on these specific sales dates like Black Friday and the 2 weeks before Christmas.
welcome to corporate America
.It makes sense because it would discourage scalpers because scalpers don't want to be burdoned with software.
.I would to if I ran a brick and mortar chain of stores.
By bundling software and extra accessories they can make even more money off of that lone console sale due to that desperation.Well in that case I am fine with it then. Anything that takes the piss out of a scalper is good in my book. My confusion came from the money they could make now and also the fact that people are still desperate for these new consoles.

Just know they aren't doing it as a favor to the consumer, it's to pad their profits with stuff people otherwise probably would've walked out on. This is why Gamestop is always doing bundles. Also if it's a game that somebody doesn't like it will more than likely end up right back at Gamestop to be sold again at a higher price point. It's all a cycle.I suppose it would be nice to buy one that has two extra controllers, a stand and extra charge cables. Also include a game or two of our choice as well.
I thWhite console, black Friday.
Yeah... That's all I got.
There was also a video a few weeks back regarding Walmart hoarding PS5s. Lol.

50 x ~4800 stores.50 units a store isn't hoarding.
Let me know when that is their weekly order.50 x ~4800 stores.
They’ll likely bundle it with a bunch of dumb stuff people dont want. Gamestop is notorious for this.I actually don't have a problem with this. They need it for revenue, they'll be sold at cost, and lots if kids will get a PS5 for Christmas.
Win-win.
That’s how I got my Switch OLED actually. My Series X and Wii went out for drinks and one thing led to another….I thought the PS5 was mixed race white and black? It's a Damn Oreo.
When I bought the PS5 DE from Gamestop, it came with the media remote, a $100 PS card, a year of PS+ card, and a $50 GameStop card. So it was all useful. I used the GameStop card to buy an Xbox gift card. It’s the disc version that forces physical games on you that you probably don’t want. They’ll likely bundle it with a bunch of dumb stuff people dont want. Gamestop is notorious for this.
Well squid game is popular right now so everyone can have their little taste by participating in the black friday consumer purge. Fight for a console like your life depended on it to save $50 wooooWell obviously. But people are going to kill each other over this. People go weird on black Friday anyway. This'll be a massacre.
