sawed off is not a problem. that thing takes about 10 years in Gears match time to reload.
More money for Epic though. All in all, it's winning!BigJiantRobut said:It's sort of depressing seeing so many paid weapon skins online.
When you're within range. When you KNOW someone is hiding around a corner with it, toss a smoke grenade in to stun them. They can move, but can't shoot.leng jai said:So is the SOS an insta-gib weapon or what?

I am really enjoying this so far, I seem to be pretty decent (1.2 kdr) which isnt godly but I think its pretty acceptable (my mw2 kdr was like .35 hah)
Solid game all around thogh

Nothing feels worse than feeling like a boss only to have that taken away from you by a SOS that was fired in your general direction.shichishito said:shitting on some kids

what could be better?
The Cole train runs on wheat grain!
Nothing feels better than having a SOS user blow his load prematurely so that I can blow him apart with my gnasher, then wall bouncing behind his cheap, sorry ass SOS-using friend, blasting away, then finishing it off with a super on a third SOS bitch.
No wonder these kids hide around the corners all match. Too bad that shit don't work, either.

FUCK the sawed off.
Definitely annoying, but fortunately their strategy is pretty one dimensional. I'm sure they'll get bored and move on within a few weeks.A27 Tawpgun said:Nothing feels worse than feeling like a boss only to have that taken away from you by a SOS that was fired in your general direction.
It's better than the beta one but fuck is it still annoying.
Agreed. Finished Gears 2 yesterday as well, and it's a pretty frustrating experience filled with "oh right, I remember that I hated this part, and I still do" moments. I'm in Act 4 of Gears 3, and so far there have been maybe three sections that I've disliked, which is incredible in comparison to upwards of 10 awful spots in Gears 2.ZeroRay said:Really?
I'm up to chapter 3 and the campaign absolutely destroys Gears 2. I just beat 2 on Hardcore last night and the pacing and structure of the game might just make this my favorite TPS campaign.

Gunker explosions are the most satisfying non-cutscene explosions so far that I've seen in a game. The graphics on the bridge. :O
Epic are the adeptus astartes of game developers.
Gnite everyone. Can't wait to continue the campaign tomorrow after work.

Vampire Baseball said:Played three hours of campaign and over 6 of multiplayer so far and I'm loving every minute. So sad that I've already played more Gears 3 multi than I every did of Gears 2. It wasnt for lack of trying, I can tell you that.
Public, Ranked? Gametype? NAT type? Location?joat217 said:I only tried once, but i couldn't get into a game once, just an AI match.

thanks man, this worked.madmackem said:I think mine unlocked on my new console, you copy over your gamesave and do the transfer on xbox.com/drm
Nah son. That shit is straight wack. Like, okay, the Gnasher is just FINE as a close range combat weapon. It is perfectly balanced with the machine guns (what G1 was lacking) and is plenty strong enough to do big damage in CQC (what G2 was lacking). Why does the Sawed off even exist? It doesn't come close to encouraging one of the best features of Gears which is close range tussles... And it's a damn shotgun. Dudes just run through and if they miss just run away. Then I feel like the range has increased since the beta.Jadedx said:LAWL
