the world NEEDS a Capt. Falcon figure. Not sure how they would ship him, though; no mere box and packaging could contain him.
I want it, but have no idea where else to pre-order other than Amiami and it's sold out over there.
She seems to be out of stock at all the Japanese sites right now. I recommend setting up an alert at http://www.figinstock.com/ or just checking daily in amiami, as they occasionally open up more preorders. Used ones have also been popping up pretty frequently recently, for about the price of the rerelease or even cheaper.
He should come with different knees.

So, a while back, I posted my design for a display shelf I was building....
well...it's done
The alcoves fit the figures beautifully, even the big ones (She Hulk here over 20" tall)
I'm really happy with how the lighting came out...certain alcoves are under lit (like the one on top here) and certain ones are lit from the sides (like the three underneath). The reveal is deep enough that you don't see the lights unless you're right up at the display.
Underneath are shelves to store the other figures and the pieces for alternate displays and such.
So, yeah, overall, I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Just build a frame, add some drywall, some paint, and some LED strip lights.
It changes...for right now, since I'm on a high from this shelf, it's got to be one of these two Sideshow figures...The Black Cat one is incredible, really just perfect in every way. Love her signed 8x10 to Spidey. And I love that they didn't oversexualize Harley. She just comes off as twistedly playful.
Otherwise, it's probably one that I can't show here on account of being NSFW.

It's LED tape, and it's rather inexpensive. The one I'm using is a touch more narrow than the one I've linked to, but you can get it in all different sizes and colors (and multiple colors). Pretty easy to use.

Is Figma Link going to be rare when it releases? The reason I ask is that my pre-order is available to be fully paid now, but money being somewhat tight at the moment makes me not sure what to do. Can afford it, but then can't get things on Black Friday etc.

Prices go up and down, just like everything else. Unless there's a reprint though, they'll keep going up. Plus buying one will become risky if they start making bootlegs. And Link is a lot more popular than Samus, so there'll be more demand because of that too.

I keep boxes and packaging for anything that might have resale value in the future, or rather than have good value, things I just might merely sell at all later on, such as video game console boxes. Problem is, just about everytime it's been so many years I forget I have these. I sold my gamecube and a camera, then months or years down the line I found the boxes, d'oh!

It was still readily available until KB went out of business a few years ago.
Pretty easy to get from places like Ebay.
$20-30 is about average what it goes for(some want more).
MGS1 Snake though is usually $65+
The Morrigan is the Pop Culture Shock mixed media statue. I bought it through Sideshow, several years ago. They're sold out, as are a few other places I checked, but there might still be one floating around in the ether out there.

This thread is a little too narrow....maybe go "Geek Gaf - Collectibles"? or something along those lines? Something that includes not just figures but art books and other such items.
Love how you have them displayed....this one is exceptionally awesome, though.

I'd rather not widen the thread too much as it stands at risk of being diluted with too many different types of stuff. As it is, I'm only remotely interested in the comic book and other western figures, but they're at least connected enough that I do generally appreciate their inclusion. If the thread just becomes about collectibles in general, then I'll be 90% uninterested in its content. Any time I get a new post notification in my subscriptions it'll be just noise and a waste of time.
A bland expression is still an expression.
And that expression is completely proper and fitting for her character, which is why I like it.
Thanks, they have actually continually climbed in price too. I had to stop because of the cost and this was back when exchange rates were way more in the USD favor haha. I have been browsing through this thread today and ended up ordering a Figma Samus Aran, blast! hehe

It placed decently in GSC's re-release poll, but I don't think it was even top 5 for their PVC category. A much of Vocaloid stuff placed in the top slots, plus that Shiki Ryougi figure. No word on Morrigan being re-released. It's just wishful thinking at this point. She's going for 40000+ yen in the 2nd hand shops in Akihabara too.

Damn, you're killing me man. I have some of the other DC bushijos and now I NEED this and the Huntress. Damn I love the DC line from Koto, everything is really top notch so far.
