I can't tell the new Aston models apart. I confused the DB8 for a DB9, and I would confuse this with a DB8 just as easily. Same block of cheese, different sizes...

this might be blashphemy but i think i prefer the looks of Jaguar's ALC.. the AM grille doesnt really look right on the V8.. too small maybe

Legroom is just under 43 inches...which is more than a Porsche 997 (which I, at 6'2, fit in just fine)

The Lamborghini Countach era, (where six footers couldn't fit in a sports car) are over....you should be fine in an AMV8

Paying for that shyit is another thing entirely...

BTW, the Jag ALC and every modern Aston Martin (Vanquish, DB9, AMV8) were all penned by the same person, Ian Callum

This will be in my price range..... some day. It should be a little easier to attain than the other models.

On an semi-related note I saw a used 1997 DB7, 20k-ish miles for 60k the other day. It looked pretty sweet.

At one time, the AMV8 was to be priced around Porsche 997S territory (75-80K)....at that price I might have been able to swing an AMV8 somehow....

According to latest reports, the weak USD vs. the Euro will mean the car will be priced around 996 Turbo territory (100-115K) so it will be out of my price range, which means I will have to "settle" for this":

Wow, you managed to work in the fact that you're tall AND that you drive a porsche, all while seeming to be on topic!!!

I *am* tall (kinda) but I do not drive a Porsche.....I test drove a 997S recently and have driven several Porsches before (my dad had a 928S4 and an old 911 Carrera)...

My current ride is *drum roll*

A 1995 Toyota Corolla DX with 165K miles on it
:lol

I have been spending my dough on other toys (Yamaha R1, Home Theater) but now I am going to break down and buy my first sports car :D

A Porsche 997 is the most I can afford right now and was my first pick until the 2006 Z06 was introduced

500 BHP is just too much to resist:)

Got a deposit on a Black on Black Z that should arrive in October :D

I was able to gaze at a couple of Aston Martins in person at the auto show last week...my God that car is beautiful. I took some 500 pics in total at the auto show, and it'll take some time to sort them all out. Hopefully I'll have 'em up on a website by the end of the month.

BTW...Ferrari F430 = sex.
