Are these going to be original prints? I went and saw Vampire Hunter D at the Mayan in Denver and it was the most horrible quality film i've ever seen

I saw it's North American premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival. It is visually stunning, and I enjoyed it more than the first one, but this won't be a cross-over hit or anything. Extremely wordy, which is sure to turn off many filmgoers.

I watched the original years ago, and remember it as being visually very cool, but I couldn't figure the plot out for the life of me. IIRC it got very very strange near the end, and I was all WTF is going on? Same sense from Akira.
