Anyone listen to the Sphere podcast yet? Wondering how it is at 3 hours long, hadn't had a chance to listen yet. Can't figure out how to do premium casts on Pocket Casts.
Lol that driveclub guy won't let it go. It's fucking driveclub who cares if jeff didn't like it.
I am amazed these boring out of touch snooze fest critics that make up the trash known as Giantbomb has such a following here in GAF.

I've listened to about half of it so far. It's good! It's very in depth and they basically go chronologically through the book breaking down their favorite moments while also comparing and contrasting the book and movie.
Nice, a whole lot more than I expected. If they saw it being this long and in depth I can see why they wouldn't want people to think it would be a regular thing.
They go through the book chapters by chapters. I'm halfway through it right now. It's great.
And for premium casts in your app, take the RSS link from the website and add your login info to it... so http://username:password@rssaddress

The console warrior shit has gotten out of hand on here, I seriously do wish the mods would get more strict. A lot of the stuff that has been posted lately would never have flown back in 2008.
Why do people like Twister? Serious question. I actually loved the Jurassic Park, Lost World, and Congo books so I generally enjoy Crichton's writing, but Twister is one of the worst movie I've seen in theaters. It alternated between boring and stupid.

I wonder how many more times Dan is going to get to explain why he loves Waluigi so much for the same reasons before anyone points out he talks about it every single week. I'm guessing every single remaining Mario Party Party and at least one Bombcast, so like 20 times.
You just pointed it out, so the answer to the question just became zero.

A dude whose Tumblr is made up entirely of porn just asked Jeff if he'd considered re-reviewing Drive Club.
Not sure why I found that so hilarious.
the best thing about Twister is the terrible attraction thing they have at Universal Studios. It's definitely in the camp of so-bad-it's-good. I never skip it when i go to the park, and when i forget how terrible it is i search for yelp reviews of it to refresh my memory.
Finally was able to start listening to the Sphere cast.
Sphere spoilers:I'm so glad they brought up the talk about Norman going to sleep and looking for cake after Harry walks into the Sphere. When I read it I thought it was absolutely nuts and seemed like everyone was just relaxed about it while I'm sitting there flipping out. It was the weirdest part in that entire book for me. Some dude just walked into a fucking alien sphere and you go to sleep?
Also lol at Chris talking as if they've been podcasting for so long already at only a third of the way through.
It's worth it to see a totally stonefaced Bill Paxton talking about how powerful and majestic tornadoes are in the preshow.
I'm not done with the podcast yet but looks like they completely missed the whole point of everybody sleeping constantly. The whole story revolves around dreams and stuff that people dream about happening in the "real" world. I agree that this particular example is a bit weird though.
i want to hear the podcast but i have not read sphere

Well. you're right on that. but not the good porn >:/
I'm not saying the game is mediocre because I dislike it. I think The Crew is great, since I loved open world racing games like Test Drive Unlimited and FUEL. I never had any server issues, but the game doesn't need to be always online since Test Drive Unlimited games were very similar and didn't require a internet connection. I feel it's mediocre because it doesn't have great graphics, the AI is pretty badly designed in some events and the story is terrible. It doesn't exactly help that the default handling settings feel quite dull and imprecise. I love the massive open world with different terrains and the handling model is quite good, albeit arcade oriented, after modifying some settings. The variety of cars is great and the idea of the car having different specifications available is cool. The game could do with a few more cars though, 40 isn't that much.
