I liked Borderlands humor well enough and certainly preferred it to stuff like Destiny. It kinda has a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks attitude towards the jokes but I also played the whole game co-op chatting with friends so it being in-your-face and not subtle was the only way to actually notice it above all the chit chat.
