We were hoping but so far no official comment on that.Oh okay, that's when I thought they posted it. But as for video, will there be video for the deliberations? I thought I saw someone say that in this thread a while back.

Usually its done in a podcast ala Bombcast form but with them now doing that in video, maybe they could do GOTY as well?
I wonder what skits will they do this year (if any?)
(Dec '15) "Realistically, the studio won't be done until March or April"
Planescape Torment might me my favourite game of all time but I can't disagree with you.
One thing's for certain:They will not top the 2012 skits.
I feel like actually buying Hitman has had the unfortunate side effect of turning Brad and Dan's adventures from 'haha look at these idiots' to 'oh my god just give me the fucking controller'
I'd imagine it will get better once I get to the later QLs but I'm only watching them as I master each map.
If I had to choose right now, um
DOOM
The Witness
Kirby Planet Robobot
Pokemon Sun
Quadrilateral Cowboy
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
Reigns
Ratchet and Clank
Firewatch
but like I still wanna play Titanfall 2 pretty badly, and then there's Hitman which I think deserves a spot just for all the fun I've had watching it on stream
and Dishonored 2 as well... plus TLG isn't out yet... argh
I would violently murder all of you for a 1:1 remake of Planescape in the Pillars of Eternity engine.
My top 5, in no particular order, is:
Firewatch
Persona 4 Golden
The Witness
Pathfinder Adventures
Hitman
In terms of indie titles The Witness is an amazing game that I haven't finished (and probably never will).
Stardew Valley is a pretty fun game that I need to put more time into but so far it's quite an accomplishment.
Firewatch is my runner up for game of the year.
Hyper Light Drifter is good but I haven't finished it. I feel it looked better than it played.
Oxenfree and Inside are on my play list for the next couple of weeks.
This is what I remember from the top of my head. Two of these are on my GOTY list for sure with Hitman and Overwatch the other two titles I really enjoyed this year.
SFV and Battlefield 1 were the other two big games I bought. SFV I'm terrible at and Battlefield is pretty fun too. I mean both are fun for sure but not amazing.
Maybe I missed something but this year was cool.
I think people can guess my goty.

maybe one day I'll finally beat the Witness's final challenge
fuck those pillars
It's great and sad that my favorite three games this year are,
Hitman
Deus Ex
Doom
Not much has changed over the years.
It begins
"so... Dan is moving to New York"

How was Grow Up btw? I liked Grow Home but heard nothing about the sequel.

I didn't hate Oxenfree but that's a game I do not get the love for by some people on GAF. I thought it was a very middle of the road narrative game with very little going for it. The dialogue is fine, the art style is mostly ok, the sci-fi twists have been done before and are just ok here. There's a couple of real cool moments and the dialogue system is neat but I wasn't impressed by it.

It's a weird game. If you hated the climbing in Grow Home you might actually like Grow Up cause it's basically non existant (at least for me). I really, really enjoyed the game though I do enjoy me some "Just tick all those boxes and watch something in the background" kind of games as long as they are visually pleasing and it's fun to move around.
Ended up 100%ing it.
