Porsche is a bit of a weird company, so that sentence wasn't much of a surprise to me. They are very small for a car manufacturer, but they are incredibly succesful and are a majority owner of Volkswagen now which is the biggest in the world depending on how you measure that. They even had a year where their profit exceeded their revenue, which doesn't make sense whatsoever but it happened.

Oh and everyone is saying it wrong.

Are people really offended about "Frozen Pizza" derisively being said? like...yes, there are good frozen pizzas, but when you say it in that manner it is ABSOLUTELY understood in America to mean that you're eating cheap disposable gross pizza. It's like saying you're living on Ramen. There is plenty of good ramen, even just the cheap kind people are talking about is good if you're in the mood for it, but it says a lot more about the situation than saying "I'm eating cheap/lazy/bad food" and people understand it instantly over here.

This current youtube discussion is pretty interesting, because I think GB pretty much fills the role youtube is promoting now. Almost daily long videos so you come back more often and channels that get a lot of "watch time". Not sure if it's actually helping their numbers.

I started playing it yesterday and I thought folks were exaggerating about clunky controls, like they did with Ico and SOTC. Turns out they were not. Game seems cool from what I've played, though.

Not that the game needs it, it's more for me because I feel so bad whenever I leave him alone. ;_;

Youtube has been going in this direction for a while. Whatever their intentions are, they're encouraging daily long videos and killing high-effort, low-volume content (animators and cartoonists were the first the feel this). Great if you're into gaming/commentary content, where your favourite personality mumbles over someone else's work, but it doesn't leave room for much else. And they really are all-in on their recommendation engine - it's no coincidence you still cannot access the subscriber feed via the V3 API.

Big channels are seeing the writing on the wall too, and have been looking into membership systems similar to GB for a while, but they differ by trying to avoid self-hosting costs and instead create added-value member's areas.
