I agree, just be careful with that form if you're squating or doing deadlifts since the arc of the movment is locked. Mix it up with some free weights as well, if they have it.

True. I try and throw in equivalent exercises with dumbbells when I can since it's closer to true form. I fucked up my back over the summer doing deadlifts on a smith machine with bad form. The restrictive nature of the movement on those can really be troublesome.

I kinda want a GB Fitness podcast now. Dan, Danny, and Danielle talking about running on Danswers is what got me started exercising in the first place, and now if Dan and Vinny are going to the gym I'd love to hear them talk about it.

Maybe I'll shoot an email to the Beastcast.

With LPB3 being free on PS+ this month, I really wouldn't mind a one-off video of Jeff, Brad and Drew/Jason checking in on the best creations made (LBP3 can play every creation of the LBP Trilogy). There are some really neat things that bend the creation system in unique ways, like this this Duck Hunt recreation that can use PS Move: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAkM55ejKno

Ehhh, they would just rip the jumping the entire time. I couldn't handle it.

Then you'll be fine. The reason people talk shit about the Smith machine is because you don't need to stabilize the weights at all. You miss out on a lot of the smaller muscles because of that.

But you have to work with what you got.

I don't know if I want to hear about lifting from the GB guys haha.

I didn't even look at what they wanted me to do in Shogi. I am already not good, and don't enjoy, playing chess, so that stuff was out of question.

And yeah, no shame in using a Smith Machine if that's the only option. 100x better than doing nothing at all.

Remember that Jeff gave the first two games five star reviews (no one reviewed LBP3, but I assume it would've received three stars due to the weird bugs and having less polish than the Media Molecule developed ones had). I don't think the jumping bugged him too much.

Why would you want that haha? I wouldn't mind seeing Vinny and Dan working out just for fun but it's not like they are a fountain of knowledge when it comes to exercise, Dan doesn't even know what a duck is.

I had the exact same reaction when I heard Kiryu interjecting at karaoke.

I'm sure they'll read a billion comments about timing the weapon Heat attacks better. Vinny was trying to get there but Dan was a bit too eager with the attacks.

I do most stuff on Smith machines because I don't have a spotter and it's easier to get your forms right.

Same here. I'm considering dropping it for the YMCA for a few months just because one near my house has an indoor track, a blessing to runners during the cold winter months.

The heat attack prompts (and others) being at the far top right of the screen is weird. I have to move my focus to it to see whats there. I wonder why they didn't place it closer to the action. Or maybe I'm just being picky.

I finally subscribed to Giant Bomb last week. I came to the realization that I consume more GB content than Netflix and they deserve my money a lot more.

I really hope they don't start purposefully seeking out sidequests.

The joy of them is that they pop up as you wander around.

And you never get locked out of any of them. Shenmue's timings ruined them

I adore platformers, and am also a complete sucker for games with user-creation content. There are about a dozen Mega Man: Powered Up levels of mine that you can still download from your PSP and play to this day. Mario Maker was my GotY when it came out, and is easily one of my top ten favorite games ever.

I don't know if I've ever been more disappointed with a game than I was with LittleBigPlanet.

i have found every LBP amazingly bad.

The mushy controls ruined any enjoyment I could have had

I appreciate what people can create with it, but fuck that game

Best Party Game of Last Gen.

The game has really good visuals for indicating when a heat attack is available other than just putting the prompt in the corner. If you're looking to do a specific heat attack it might be kind of annoying, but Kiryu glows a very obvious aura when he's up.

The best levels were always the ones that used momentum and grab physics to fling you around the obstacles instead of running and jumping anyway. Or the levels that just looked cool.

I do think those are just stand ins, but I have no doubt people are jacking it to these films as well.

It's hard to find a comprehensive list of wrestling video games in a chronological order. Even the Giant Bomb Wiki is missing data.
