Although it would be on a random day (random time) - at least I hope it would.
The routine of them having to do a live show every Friday was the main reason they stoped Happy Hour - they talk about this quite a lot during the SNES Party Live Show. They got burned out with that, and felt the content was no longer interesting. Stopping it really did open up loads of opportunities for great new stuff.
I fear they are now falling into that trap again - although UPF can still have fantastic moments.
I think UPF needs to stay (but maybe change the day/time if it's a hassle) - it's good to have a reliable couch feature given the rest have disappeared. And I can't think of a more effortless feature than playing any random games and drinking for a couple hours. If that's too much of a chore for them then I don't know what to say.

I think they less structured nature of UPF means that's less likely to happen. With the Happy Hour they needed to plan and schedule like 3-4+ segments every week. UPF they just need to have at least 3 of them pick a game each & they can sit down and fuck around.

Vacation, an paying for it himself - although he will be back to talk about it in content next week. Jeff already has joked they would not spend budget to send someone to such a thing.
Vacation, though it gets weird when they end up getting content out of it via him reporting on his experience on the podcast.

I really like UPF and look forward to it each week. I find it relaxing and amusing to watch since they just chill and play games for a couple hours.

I like Charmed. Terrible show overall (bad story arcs), but has pretty fantastic one off episodes when they felt like it.
I applaud any show that has the gall to do a black and white episode
I really like Drew's oddball picks like Blinx and T&E for the Xbox or that Planet of the Apes GBA game (even though he was pretty bad it). The PC stuff is hit-or-miss, for sure.
Drew should visit the archive more often.

I dunno. I gave it a chance but if you don't care about F1 they pretty much just talk about F1.
Dunno. I started from the first episode and am watching the races that line up with each episode.
I watched a couple documentaries and read up and watched some coverage about this seasons rule changes as well.
What were you expecting from a Formula 1 podcast?
They do a pretty good job introducing you to F1, yeah.

They explained just about all the concepts in the first podcasts to ease people in, but if you just pick up the latest episode it's not going to be easy to get into.
This may have influenced my decision to watch the show as a teenager.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing when Jeff made the comments about not paying but getting content. oh well Brad is having a blast, leaving GB has given him more energy then ever

They were always the best part of the site and we have none other than UPF at the mo (which is struggling with just Jeff, Dan, Brad and Drew. You need a Vinny or Patrick on the show.)

I really want to see the GB guys push to do more travelogues/remote segments. Like I'm not even thinking crazy stuff on the scale of traveling to Iceland and making Drew spend 50 hours editing together the video for it. That stuff is fantastic but I know they're limited by staff size. But maybe more local conventions, tournaments, oddities, etc.
Like how cool would it be if they went out and shot a quick segment at that Mike Tyson Punchout Bar Dan was discussing on the podcast? Something similar to GBEast's video with the cool game store they found in NYC.
