The funny thing about Grimey, as I call him, is that he was created when a writer proposed an episode revolving around a person from the real world meeting Homer.
Pretty sure they even found some of his personal family videos he had uploaded and was posting hateful and cruel messages on it for his family to see.

Yea, I couldn't believe it. The guy has zero luck in his MGS1 playthrough.

They should do another Unfinished of Snow.

Jason isn't coming. I think the plan for now is to maybe record a one-off podcast when we're back. Also, we'll obviously be tweeting a bunch of dumb bullshit while we're there.
Jason is the true MGS fan at GB.
While you're here, do you have any plans on continuing the "Dan's Dad Plays..." videos at GB, when the time is right for something like that? Those were my favourite GI videos.
As penance for this, go join Danny's FIFA stream that's about to start.

I honestly didn't know it was a line I was crossing seeing as shitting on Patrick has been openly celebrated in every GAF GB thread for years now.
I don't judge anyone who still loves the podcast or even Dan himself. Hell, I have been close friends with a Dan-type years back. For me, it's a personality I don't find charming or enjoyable and 2+ hours is a lot of time to voluntarily set aside for something you aren't entirely enjoying. It bummed me out that a staple of my Tuesday's for several years is now a source of frustration and no longer fun. This was misdirected and something I could have kept to myself. Didn't mean for it to get too personal, I will leave it at that and move on from the thread.
This stopped a long time ago. The rules in the OP should give you an indicator.
Ahhh, I was going off of Danny's original tweet on the subject which IIRC said Jason was coming too. I look forward to the potential podcast and some dumb tweets anyway. Keep up the good work at GB, dude!

Thanks for the heads up. I often don't make it to these threads while they are still on page 1 and I honestly haven't looked at an OP and first few replies because it was more often than not just memes about is Vinny there and how awful things were going to be if Patrick was. I have since avoided page 1 and OPs for that reason. Glad to see it was addressed. I don't want to be part of the problem, so I am happy to depart the GB threads with my GAF account in tact. It was a knee jerk reaction to share my frustrations with the direction the podcast has taken.

The entire middle part of MGS is a bit of a drag or really awesome if you only care about the boss rights. Just boss fighter after boss fight after boss fight with very little other stuff in between.

I think i've heard that the MGS games are not in chronological order. Hearing Dan talk about MGS2, it sounds like it's before MGS1. Is MGS1 the latest game, timeline-wise?

Am I the only one who thinks it's kinda misguided to call Dan 'dumb', a 'simpleton', or a 'dumbass' or whatever else has been thrown around here? He's clearly highly intelligent, excels at many things, and has a fair amount of cultural awareness (from travel, etc).
It just seems like he has a few isolated gaps in his knowledge that are kinda sensational whenever they are brought to light. Doesn't seem that weird to me, even if he didn't know what egg whites were for a hot minute.
