I've been noticing this for a while but Brad takes pride in not playing a lot of things. And not, like, loli vita games, but just normal series. He's very proud of just going "I don't care about this series and haven't played this game."

With no Brad or Jeff in the room, Dan and Drew were able to reminisce about Rogue Squadron in peace. Ha ha. Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy do light saber combat like no other game. If Dan is a big fan Star Wars, those games definitely stand up after all these years. Though it may require a mod to get it to render in wide screen resolutions.

Jeff and Brad have been pretty bad about that for years. Vinny always seemed to be the guy who played the most and the widest range of games and he had a kid at home and a job that mostly involved NOT playing games so I dont know how he ever had time for it.

At least they have Dan in the SF office to pick up the slack.

No video (it is actually a vacation for them) - maybe the odd Vine or something. Might to a post podcast.

I love AC2 up until Brotherhood then AC4 and Freedom cry and even I have to say they control like crap, the combat is terrible and the amount of times your character gets stuck to something, or jumps up/down something instead of the other is infurating.

I like the series a lot but i do not care about the combat Hope unity fixes that aspect.

The great thing about the current giant bomb is that there's so much content, specially if you are a premium member thanks to Dan. Honestly it feels like too much sometimes, i can't watch it all and play games too. That's why i don't check gamespot too even tough i want to.

The bad thing is that non-subscribers don't really know what they're losing.

But that's a hard problem to solve. What would you do? 5-minute video of the beginning of each premium feature to give a taste of the content? but that's not always the best 5 minutes of a video...

It is hard. Do you do a weekly stream like the CDi stream for free or do you just make every livestream subscriber only.

For podcasts they usually once in a while give an episode of Powerbombcast or Alt F1 for free.

I think 2 controlled fine and three introduced the "Leap if you run, do nothing if you don't" mechanic and that REALLY made the game cumbersome to play. AC4 had less running and jumping so it wasn't as prominent an issue.
