Dan's excitement when he saw those was great.
Yeah. I was gonna sell off a bunch of gold back when I quit and it was like .98 per 1000 gold. The first time I quit I think it was up to ~$20 per 1000.
Also, I continue to be baffled how anyone can really love the game without doing the raids or pvp.
I hope for the last episode someone sends him a 90 boost and he jumps into a raid, with only 4 weeks of experience.
Why not start with Arrow Pointing Down? Or at least the '08-Bombcasts? The TGS ones are really fun.
I still need somebody to upload the two parts (they're like 17GB a piece) of Operation Supply Drop for GB Unarchived. I just do not have the bandwidth to do it. It should be the last of it, not counting Jeff's stuff (which I'm uploading now) and Ryan's (which is mostly all broken). PM me if you can help.

Yeah, I started to go through old Bombcasts last year (starting with APD) but stopped around the beginning of '09. I have a bit of podcast backlog atm (not Bombcasts, mind). Once I've worked through it, I will pick up the retro bombcast project again. Love listening to that stuff.

As someone who watched back in the Attitude Era, I'm a little iffy on it being worth it. I don't really use it at all beyond peeking in on the latest PPV, but I'm excited by what's coming down the pipeline for NXT. I have until the end of September to decide to re-up or not. I was definitely not going to re-up, but Lesnar killing Cena last night intrigued me.
As for Raw and Smackdown, Hulu has a cutdown version of Raw, and nothing happens on Smackdown so you can skip that easily.

thisyearcollection.org has a collection of the Bombcast by year, including a Ryan Davis memorial collection. Also a great compilation of the Hotspot and GFW radio.
I'd suggest you start there since they have the best of the best moments of the bombcast.

Behind the scenes of wrestling and shoots may be the most interesting thing for me.
There's some behind the scenes stuff, but not an overwhelming amount.

It's a tough sell on a 6-month sub if you're only somewhat interested. Yes, there are good docs up there but you could blow through them at a leisurely pace in a single month.
Here's where the model kind of fails: at the end of my 6-month commitment, I'm not re-upping. But if they wanted to let me go month-to month at $10, I'd stay on for a while longer. Making me commit to another 6 months is a huge turnoff, as someone with a modest entertainment budget. That's a $60 game i could get instead of a video service that I'm not using as much as I could be.

eh at least you'll get a better version than Canada.

Yeah I was happy when they first started and Rorie wasnt on it as I didnt want someone with a good amount of knowledge guiding Dan around. That and I seem to be the one guy who finds Rorie really irritating so havent even bothered watching parts 3 and 4.

Its been too long since Dave came back in again for some more content. I know with Vinny having moved now we've lost a chance for the proper Random PC team but I would still love to get some more of those. They were originally planning it but nothing happened.
You are definitely not the only guy who thinks that.

They're not bad. My girlfriend'a standard breakfast is scrambled egg whites with almonds and some fruit on the side. She usually just cracks some pepper into the eggs.
I'm not sure Dan knows what salt and pepper are.

I'd actually like to see him move on from WoW and change the feature so we see him do a months worth of videos of loads of different MMOs.
Needs to make room for the MGS play through.
The WoW videos are alright, it definitely made me considering install it again, but I've kinda lost interest. He can only have so many Premium features running concurrently and TBH I'd much prefer Demo Derby and MGS.
Yeah that doesn't sound bad at all. I guess I imagine dan simply pan frying the whites and calling it a breakfast, but maybe that's selling him a bit short.
