Samoa Joe was on the fucken couch? With Drew and Xavier? God damn I need to catch up.
It's very good. The interviews with the duders have all been insightful and indepth.
whoa, what? I don't remember this at all.
Thanks, guys! But I didn't really get the sense that Jeff or Vinny are planning on leaving anytime soon when I talked to them. Both seemed in it for the long haul.
It was on the 1099 podcast(which is a good podcast, particularly the interviews with the duders). However, that is not what Vinny implied.
Saying "people are leaving" in every page of every other GB thread is tiring and it's never been funny. If people actually are going to leave, we'll deal with it then. In the meantime all it is is a bunch of people going "HAHA GOTCHA" to each other and it's really, really old.
Hey, everyone! Just want to clarify (I know most of the comments are jokes, but still): None of the Giant Bomb folks I've had on my podcast (The 1099) implied that they're leaving.
I, like all of you, need Giant Bomb in my daily life to function. So whenever I talk to one of the guys, I like to dig into the dynamic of the site and pick their brains on their roles there. I asked Vinny if he (or anyone else) almost feels like they have an obligation to keep the crew together--just because so many people love what they do and a single "main member" leaving could throw the entire thing off.
By the end of the conversation, I could tell they're all super devoted to building GB and no one seemed to give me the "I'M OUT" impression.
Again, thanks for all the feedback on the shows! I really, really hope to get Brad on in the future (and possibly even the new millennial GB wave...?)

I can already see what's going to happen:
Abby + Ben is going to take off and they are going to leave GB in a year because they founded a huge thing.
I'm watching the day 2 live show and I have to say, Lorne Lanning is one handsome man. I hope I age like that.
Lorne could easily be the next "Most Interesting Man in the World."
My first video game website.
I mean, sure, but it was hardly the next MONTH people were worrying aboutJeff will be around until gamespot.com redirects to giantbomb.com.
If we don't get a Former GB Interns block tonight with Ben, the entire Giant Bomb experiment has been a failed one
O__OHow often do you have a famous, attractive woman who is tied to video games and is actually part of the culture and not just 'playing up to geeks.
Jeff will be around until gamespot.com redirects to giantbomb.com.
So mid-2018, then?Jeff will be around until gamespot.com redirects to giantbomb.com.

McElroy's are great as usual
guess' on tonight's guests?
Obviously: Lang, Boyes, (Drake?)
Maybes: Cliffy B, Yosp,
Not happening but would be rad: Michel Ansel, Reggie
Pulling the Day 2 full archive from YouTube seems like an odd decision. Maybe there were technical reasons and it'll come back up, but they got like 50k+ views on the Day 1 feed just from the morning after. They're missing out on prime catchup time.
Well this sure was a postPlus she was clearly genuine.

She filled the gap Aisha Tyler left pretty well.
I've been looking at the 75% off Europa Universalis 4 on Steam since yesterday thinking about buying it but I'm so fucking intimidated by that game lol...
Also the DLC situation is a bit of a mess
