Restarting Twin Peaks talk: I watched The Missing Pieces and it was really interesting. Some of it was clearly cut for a reason, but other scenes were great and it's baffling that they were just... gone, for 20 years?

Anyway, this is a terrible idea since it's already late, but I'm hyped to watch more after that and I'm diving into the first episode of season 3 I guess.

Well I won't say anything other than season 3 starts right where 2 ended. Like almost literally. So, in that sense it feels like a direct continuation of what happened in the last 20 or so minutes of S2's finale which is fantastic. When it comes to style though it's what you'll notice immediately in how different it is but then again, we're talking 20+ years of filmmaking history here.
