Giant Bomb Thread #4: A thread of perceived slights

You know what, Giant Bomb is the kind of website I go to because they AVOID doing stupid shit like trying to cover every release in a week in one cramped livestream. Jeff himself has said that Giant Bomb like to pick and choose their battles. This is dumb, and not in a good way.

This is much funnier if you think of this as a GB casting show and everyone from Gamespot is trying out to get on the A-team.

It's funny, I was thinking of Jeff when he talked about that weird time at Gamespot when they had the mission statement to cover every game released in some way. This is veering dangerously close to that territory, but I think they can spare the hour to do these as long as they keep it funny and can talk honest shit about these instead of trying to "earnestly cover" this.

Generally, I just enjoy them dicking around like this with a number of random games.

I haven't seen anything worse than the occasional "GS is shit" or "GS guy is trying too hard" comment when the show started. And I've seen similar posts in this thread.
We don't make disgusting, vulgar, and insensitive comments about transgender people so sorry you lose.

Unless you believe that's better then "this guy is trying too hard".

Are the login servers fucked? It can't find my account. :/

Edit: The at Brad: "Do you die a lot?" Made me laugh out loud. :>

Edit II: Why are they showing end game content from Tomb Raider. :/

What's the point of showing games they've already shown in quick looks.

I feel this show should be designated to showing the games that normally wouldn't get quick looks (like the Naruto, Ayesha games etc. )

I have to say I really wasn't interested in the new TR but after watching the quick look and this footage I do really want to play it now. I want to shoot that bow.

I think there's a reason why Gamespot people have been handling Tomb Raider and SimCity so far. Do they even do this type of video content?

I've never seen high level Trackmania play, but I'm guessing that's what we're seeing when Jeff plays Trackmania.
I walked into a Trackmania tournament at gamescom and all they did was crash into stuff, thus flying and flipping insanely through the air and landing close to the finish line. It was insane.
