I think they did some stupid shit (not waiting for Crews' entrance to reveal his debut, having Shane "run Raw" as a transparent way of writing him out without people being upset, saving Vaudevillains for Smackdown, and of course, the Bayley-sized hole in the Women's title segment) but I was pretty happy by the end.

It was solid throughout besides some kinda boring matches, but Enzo and Cass debuting, which finally fucking adds a tag team that can talk on the mic (besides New Day) to the roster, and the lightyears better than any Wrestlemania match that was the fatal four way made me really enjoy it by the end.

I know better to know that it's probably gonna go to shit soon enough, but I'm happy that AJ is getting his chance to do something besides feud with Jericho (not that Roman is much of an upgrade tbh)

how narrow? My computer is in the converted garage which is only 2m wide, but 5m long. I can clear out a 2x2 space and that seems fine for small room scale - minimum is only 2m x 1.5m.

I don't know if they said anything officially but he was still in Wrestleland yesterday, so I wouldn't expect him to be back in time. Who knows though?

so i was listening to the powerbombcast today even though i don't know anything about wrestling and i realised goddamnit even if i never watch any actual wrestling i think i'm kind of into wrestling

maybe i'll watch lucha underground, that at least seems WORTHWHILE watching

well I'm staying up until 1am most nights just in case I have any more issues with HTC trying to take my money, so one more won't hurt. Can't believe I watched the entire oculus stream - not entirely live, probably the last couple hours I had to catch up with the next day.

Just finished The Wire Season 2. Goddamn that's a great show. I knew from Treme that I could trust David Simon but this is even better.

i should really get around to watching the wire one of these days. i've been meaning to for literally two years now

And you've not even hit peak Wire yet. Absolutely incredible show - currently thinking about starting a 4th re-watch. If you ever get the chance to hear Simon speak at a local uni, go, it's well worth it.

I was too, since Treme ended and I heard people say "you should watch The Wire then!". Finally managed to do so and it's worth it.

I am thinking of converting my candy room in to a VR room. I don't know though, candy is pretty cool.

My candy room is a closet with a half a pack of Rolos and a Sherbet Dib Dab in it.

wrestling is a lot like anime in that it's way better in concept and on a meta level than in actual practice (which most of the time is only slightly preferable to dropping hammers on your toes)

and they have terrible fans

Having a good space to play doesn't preclude showing how standing-only would work. Using a confined space would preclude showing room scale.
