So... does that mean we're not entitled to opinions?

How do you strike the balance?!I had no interest in this endurance run but have watched because the cry babying about them doing stuff wrong is hilarious and amazing in the worst way.

Apparently even though WE pay THEM, it's ungrateful of us to criticize.
The Endurance Run isn't a subscriber exclusive feature, so the fact that you're 'paying' them is irrelevant.
It doesn't mater if we pay them or not. Just because something's free doesn't make it immune to criticism.

He's right. The criticism from people who've beaten the game and seem to know every intimate detail of playing it perfectly is silly. It's their first time playing the game (in bite-sized increments, no less) and playing perfectly is not the point here. Enjoy it for what it is people!

People want this to be some kind of perfect run and whenever they do something not on the official path of Chrono Trigger

Criticize it all you want, but don't justify it by saying you payed for it.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH
You guys take free content pretty fucking seriously, huh? Good God.
I think people just need to stop watching if you expect them to play exactly like you would, even if that boils down to forgetting things or not reading/retaining story details.
So... does that mean we're not entitled to opinions?
It's like the complainers have never gone to the wrong town in an RPG or something similar. People make mistakes in games?!

There's a bit of overreaction going on in this thread, so, yeah. Having an opinion does not mean you are correct or that it is a sound opinion, it just means you have formed a thought. Congratulations!
They're making some pretty dumb mistakes, no doubt, but everything always seems easier when you're barking orders from the back seat.
You take complaints about free content on a video game website pretty fucking seriously huh?
Guys, I forgot about 2Poch too.
Hate me.

When Vinny makes a mistake: Haha oh man that's so funny Vinny you are the best
When Ryan makes a mistake: Oh my God this is the worst thing ever how can he be so bad at games.

Of course we could not watch it, but anyone that sees someone screwing up this horribly and DOESN'T want to just shake the person and say "NO! BAD!" so that they get it is someone I can't understand. If Ryan can't see humor in the situation (It's funny in a 'shaking my head and looking at the floor' kind of way) then he IS a bit of a baby. If it wasn't entertaining, we wouldn't watch it. Entertainment value isn't in question here, if we're not allowed to discuss and criticize an ER then what's the point of it?
Also, 'free' or not, we're all always paying them. The thread existing and sitting on the front page is advertising for their site, us discussing them generates interest. Without 'free' content they wouldn't entice people to subscribe, so the argument that that somehow makes it unimportant is idiotic: the free content is MORE important to their livelihood than the paid content.

This argument seems ridiculous too though.
It doesn't SEEM easier.
A lot of us played this game when we were fucking little kids, I beat CT in like a week when I was 13 and it first came out, it makes this stuff painfully obvious.
People miss things sometimes, sure. People don't repeatedly miss EVERY single thing every time they play a game though.
