Bought him out - cheaply - AFTER the judgement.
Even if she was the co-owner, it's still his equity which he'd be shielding from the judgement.
I suspect this would not fly when a judge looks at it.

What really cost him money was suing Karl Jobst, and this was the best-case scenario. I don't care what financial damage there was beyond him already being a known cheater prior to said defamation. Billy is an immoral person who has hurt many people through similar practices (whether or not his lawsuit was justified here), so I won't lose sleep over it.
Exposing people who are defrauding others of money for 'cancer research'? Exposing cheaters? There's nothing wrong with that.

What was done was within the confines of the law, according to Australian lawyers. Some people in this thread are calling them fraudulent. I don't have the expertise to determine that, but Occam's razor says the lawyers probably know more what they're talking about than the randos here.

Well, ok, let's break that down. People in this thread are suggesting that Jobst' wife will abandon him after assuming ownership of his assets -- which, let's be frank, is a feasible scenario in today's world. Such women are usually what's known as "gold diggers". Being gold diggers, they're typically unable of making money themselves; hence, if she truly is a gold digger, she is exponentially more likely to stick with Jobst should he continue making money off of his YT videos -- which I deem likely, since he's still getting hundreds of thousands of views per video. I also suggested they may love each other, a wholesome notion. I make no probability judgement on the likelihood of either scenario.
Lastly, I quip that it would be funny (in a Shakespearean tragedy kind of way!) if his wife left him -- and you clutch your pearls. Lest you forget, you have been all up in my ass ITT accusing me of being an obsessed fanboy, emotionally involved, stanning for a guy who wouldn't likely piss on me if I were on fire. I'm highly intelligent and retain a lot of information, which is probably why it seems like I'm more invested than I actually am. But the saga does interest me, and I root for Karl. It's not rocket science.

Everything was done in accordance with the law per the bankruptcy trustee. After the trustee takes ownership of the assets, the spouse is allowed to buy out the co-owned properties of the bankrupted party before all other considerations, including creditors' debts, if they have the funds -- which she did.

In general, I find that when someone attempts to convince others of their intellect, it's generally not a good sign that said intellect is present. Not saying it's untrue, just offering a bit of advice about how that comes off to others, though I'd imagine that's not a concern for you based on your behavior with this thread.
