That doesn't make any sense to me. Sex is sex. Isn't it good enough if people have chemistry together?

If you need to develop the characters in order for the sex to be attractive then you could only have one or two at most sex scenes. Even the big, plot porn movies need shitty excuses for the banging. And they can only do that by having very short sex scenes.

Well, that's what I'd want to have interest, and I think fewer - but better - sex scenes would be more along the lines of my tastes.

No insult intended to anybody who likes the stuff, but I find porn to be dreadfully boring. Random people having sex together does nothing for me, because I have no context for it. I'm not a visual person when it comes to getting turned on. I mean, I love Playboy-level nude photography, because I really appreciate the human body. But, it's more "s/he is really hot, huh" versus "man I'm getting hot".

I need to know who they are, why they're going to be having sex, why I want to see them have sex, etc. I need that mental/emotional connection and fantasy before I can find the sex intersting at all. I want to want to see the people have sex.

I've tried watching porn a number of times, and I just can't find it anything but dull. It's like if I'm watching a movie that's nothing but explosions, and I don't know what's exploding, or why I should care that it's exploding.

I feel you shidoshi. I too prefer sex with plot. I hear there is porn like that but I'm not well-versed in the subject... someone else here might be able to point you in the right direction.

On that subject, I hate it when I'm reading a book and there's a romance involved and the characters have great chemistry and there's a bit of sexual tension and you're cheering them on in your head to just get it on already and then... the sex scene turns out to be horrible! God, there's nothing more cringe-y than a horribly written sex scene in an otherwise good book. It's like... whyyyy? Just have it fade to black if you can't write it! My imagination can do a better job!

Find a pornstar you find aesthetically pleasing and go from there. Then you'll find more people through that particular star.

Beautiful is very subjective, but the attractiveness of the people having sex isn't the point. The point is the act. How they do it. And still, there's plenty of attractive people.

And yeah, a lot of it is very artificial, I agree, since it's the only way to show off penetration to the camera. And sure, there's some gross stuff, too. I don't see what's wrong with spitting but yeah, there's a lot. Bu there's also a lot of normal stuff.

Want to give it a legitimate try? Search a scene between Kayden Kross and Manuel Ferrara. She's gorgeous, he's attractive, and they're actually a couple in real life.

Every once in a while, I'd find a star that I'd like and would follow them for a little bit, but then I'd be looking around and it might be a month or two since the last time I was looking and I'm all like "what was her name again?" and have to start that process all over. Also, I mostly watch amateur stuff where this tip has less mileage.

Nah, I find that too. I dunno, a lot of hetero porn I've seen is more about what men would see as sexy (and just kind of looks painful or boring from my perspective) whereas lesbian/self porn is more relatable? A lot of it is probably knowing where to look as well, there is good porn with men in it! Or perhaps you'll be joining bi-gaf -w-
