Knew it would be a WSHH thread.

Requesting title change to: Girl beat down over twitter beef.

Talking shit on twitter is no different than in real life, IMO.
 
i want to say im shocked, but people do some dumb shit over "twitter rep" its the dumbest shit ever, and makes me glad i dont have an account when i see shit like this.

It's not even your "twitter rep," to some it's an extension of their real life reputation. Talking shit on the internet, when you're within arm's reach of someone, means you better be able to take a few to the chin and beat the shit out of them if/when they come knocking.

Alternatively, you could just not talk shit about people and spare yourself and them any potential violence.

Twitter isn't to blame. The people using it are; "Guns don't kill people -- people kill people."

No, but beating somebody down for "talking shit" is as dumb as killing somebody for beating somebody down. Totally out of proportion.

It was a one on one fight, with no weapons and both girls were about the same size. She'll be fine, her ego was probably hurt more than anything.

the girl on the receiving end was stood on, repeatedly had her head stomped on, had her head and face repeatedly hit with fists and then she was dragged at least 30 feet by her hair and then beaten some more and you think the only thing that hurt is her ego?

who cares if they were the same size or if there were no weapons, that beatdown def left that girl injured. i hope she called the police and had the aggressor arrested for grievous bodily harm.

After this became public I think police got involved on their own. Someone is going to jail.

Violence is not the answer to "talking shit", ignoring it is. Violent scum like this don't belong in society, and neither do people that would defend them.

She ended the video saying, "Y'all is fake as fuck". So I guess she wasn't hurt enough to stop her from continuing to talk shit.

the one holding the camera of one the friends said it, no way the girl on the floor said it. it was too clear on the recording for it to be the girl on the floor as they were walking away and it wasn't shouted.

I never said that, but I have no sympathy for someone catching a fade in a one on one fight after talking shit. It wasn't that bad.

It wasn't one on one. Someone was holding the camera and you know they'd get involved if it went the other way.

I can't believe people think this is somehow warranted because she chatted some breeze. Am I within my rights to deck the people that I perceive as 'shit-talking' in this topic? (internet tough-guy stuff aside).
