Yep. In the YouTube behind-the-scenes video for Episode 2, Lena talks about how the Hannah character tends to like fusion clothing and clothes that only sounds interesting.
There also was an article about how the costume department modifies stuff so her clothes look off.
Ugh. Those damn shortalls. I swear they modified that thing to accentuate her stomach and make her look straight up uncomfortable and borderline unpresentable, so that means the costume department did a good job. And I don't that she is hideous or anything like some of you guys do. But wow. She looked awful. I do love that about her - she puts it out there and let's commend her for that. She seems like she is a gutsy woman actually.

I was actually referring to Jessa's marriage, I couldn't believe it was still going. Although whatever it takes to keep Chris O'Dowd on the show, I'm okay with.

Duh just saw your bolding of that part. My bad. But yeah I can't see it lasting. It would be weird to have a character married and having figured it out on a show that's about the opposite.

So I came to the conclusion after watching ep 2 of this season.... that I actually really hate this show. I wasn't sure about season 1 for the first couple of episodes, then it picked up in the middle, sort of fizzled out at the end. Season 2 has just been annoying so far. The only character I even remotely like is Adam.

I guess this show just isn't for me.

She looks too much like Stephanie McMahon for me.

Williams doesn't have this as a father though

Is this appealing to a male audience?

More Boys Watch Girls Than Girls

A full 56 percent of the show's so-called "linear" audience (anybody who watches the premiere or any of the week's rebroadcasts live or through a DVR) is male; 44 percent is female.

In a complete reversal of the show's gender breakdown for linear viewing, a whopping 63 percent of viewers watching Girls on demand are female, according to data from Rentrak, a company that measures VOD usage. (However, this isn't enough to change the overall male majority, as VOD only makes up for 21 percent of the show's total weekly viewership.)

This is the episode that Maureen Ryan had a big problem with. I'm curious to see what she was hinting at a few weeks ago on her podcast.

Important scheduling note: [insert drudge siren here]
Finally, an important programming note: because there's a little television show called the Super Bowl airing next Sunday night, HBO is going to premiere the next episodes of "Girls" and "Enlightened" on Saturday night, Feb. 1, at 10 & 10:30 p.m., respectively. They'll rerun in the normal timeslots, while everyone is busy talking about the brothers Harbaugh.

kinda hated it. the over the top characters (especially that lonely island guy) and the stupid cocaine storyline both felt really false and being the context for the plot stuff made that all feel unsatisfying. plus there's no adam. some nice direction in the clubbing scene though, especially when they use 'i love it' by icona pop which is an awesome song.

I... How do you not think this is hilarious?

Artist guy horribly banging Marnie followed by Hannah yelling at Elijiah for putting his wang in her. "I DIDN'T EVEN CUM IN HER!"

This episode is too good.

It was funny for sure. But it was a stupid fucking episode nonetheless. If I were to stop thinking about everything related to characters and story and only thought about lines that made me chuckle, it'd be a pretty good episode. But alas, I cannot.

I thought it was a really mediocre episode. Probably one of my least favorite ones of the series, if I'm being honest. Hannah and Elijah's adventure in cocaine land was pretty stupid and it seems to me like they're trying too hard to be zany and overtly funny this season. I'm not sure what happened, but I just don't find Girls very funny anymore. It's not grabbing me anywhere near as much as the first season did.

Don't know what to make of this episode but they really surprise me more and more with all the (extremely) local references that keep making its way into the show. Andrew and Andrew being one.

Not really sure if I'm going to keep watching this show. It was really hit or miss in the first season, and so far in the second season it has been kinda bad. Some of the characters are funny, but the overall theme of the show is annoying. I can't believe it gets the kind of praise it does from critics. This is definitely the worst part of the year when it comes to HBO specials.
