Apparently you don't read well. I have no issues with complaints. It's the fools that watch a show expecting something that the show is not, week after week. Same with any GAF TV thread.

The problem is no-one knows what to expect from Glee any more - it's gone from being about rejects coming together expressing themselves through music (and the importance of "arts eduction" as Murphy puts it) to a simple microcosm for high school melodrama in general.

Then you can expect inconsistency, and characters that change by writer fiat and plot needs.

If this displeases anyone, there are other better shows with true character arcs and ploy continuity.

Then surely you're to expect complaints when the characters, plot and overall quality of the show is so widly inconsistent?

No, we're supposed to just smile and enjoy it because the show is "stupid fun."

I wish I could be as confident as krypt0nian in thinking that Glee has no potential to be better than what it is but little scenes like the Rachel/Kurt thing from the last episode occasionally remind me that the show doesn't have to suck.

Complain all you want. Its the weekly people who hate the show that think they need to remind us why. And those that have stopped watching but continue to shit on the show in the thread.

For the 5th or 6th time, its not the complaints. It's the idiots who continually do it.

:lol

Amazingly touching tonight. Fantastic Sue and Becky run.

The talk about recapturing your first Christmas is what this show is all about. Pure unbridled fun. Brought so many happy tears and warm fuzzies.

Episode was good overall.

Pretty funny when Santana sat on Santa and said I hope it's a certs roller in your pants. Brittany and Artie's plot was really touching. And to say we were making fun of the fact that Ryan Murphy could heal Artie :lol . Rachel still doesn't get it. Will is creepy... he's spying on his ex student. Kurt probably going to blow the whole thing with Blaine (Rule of Drama). I was disappointed at Sue's change of heart. She's slowly losing her evil character which is so entertaining.

Sue as the Grinch was the best thing I've ever seen on Glee!

Brittany and Artie's was my favorite plot.

Didn't care for any of the songs except the two Grinch ones really. They should have done something like the Ride with Me singing in Season 1 with a more classic Christmas song like Jingle Bells.

Any news on when the show is back? Hope the break isn't as long as last years.

It seems the writers have started remembering about that thing called continuity they used in the show's beginning.

Krypt0nian must be hating the new un-inconsistent, character developing Glee. It's so not what the show is now supposed to be.

P.S. Finn still sings bad and has the worst facial expressions. Darren Criss can ride me any second of any hour of any day of the week. The Artie thing was touching and adorable.

I like Lauren :lol "I want Puckerman to love me... he's a fox" I think it's the delivery. Of course Brittany believes in Santa. Why is everyone surprised!? "I don't know the difference between an elf and a slave" "You know you have rights" "Was her name Ricki Lake" LMFAO Oh Brit, you kill me! It was nice to see most of the Glee club members help with Artie's plan. He looked so adorable this eppy, btw.

Biestie is awesome and somehow I knew she was going to dress up as Santa. She does kinda of have the body type. She should have been with everyone in the end.

Come on Emma, you ask a guy who has feelings for you to spend Christmas with your new and sexy fiancé? Salt in the wound.

Overall, I really liked it. It melted my cold heart.

lol@ the way the writers have tried to give Brittany 'depth.' As shown with the past two episodes, she appears to have the mentality of a four year old and considering her reputation for sleeping around, it's all just a little too creepy - especially with Artie encouraging her delusions.

Other than that, Sue's spontaneous affection for the group's singing (WTF :lol) and miracle legs, I enjoyed the episode...I think. :p

Is Brittany supposed to be retarded? Or mentally challenged in any way?

I did enjoy the final number though. The glee club finally sings like a proper choir!

She already showed a change of heart in the season 1 finale when she had it out with those judges and was on the road to a kinder, gentler Sue. So this is another episode that forgets continuity in that regard. I don't get your guys feelings that it was changed in this episode. It's like Christian Troy's going back and forth from good to evil on Nip/Tuck (another Ryan Murphy show). It is annoying and you can only revisit it for so long before it gets annoying IMHO. In fact Sue is the female version of Christian without all the sex and the penis.

I actually wanted a scene there of her heart growing bigger to go with the story and song but I know that would of probably be too cheesy even by GLEE standards.

The moments of absurdity, courtesy of Sue, were gloriously entertaining and the schmaltz made me want to jam forks in my eyes. Yep, that was very much a Glee episode.

I think they've officially run Brittany into the ground. Thankfully Lauren seems like a good replacement for humour. Hope she sticks around.

Serious UGH at the miracle legs. So bad. SO SO BAD.

Yeah she's been fantastic. Therefore, I just can't wait until they ruin her character. :lol

I love it consistent or inconsistent, thanks. I love it with great plots, or not. I love it with every supposed terrible character. For me, it's easily my favorite television.

It makes me smile and cry. :D
