Glee Season 2 |OT| How Sue "C's" it (and many blindly hate it)

Whoa.

Though to be fair, she was kind of a beast to Schu and Sue at the start of the episode. She came into the school with a major ax to grind, so it's not entirely surprising that Schu and Sue would treat her like garbage.

And the subsequent developments are just...wow. Pretty damn good.

Wow, so Rachel is still insecure and Finn gets in trouble with the team again? Does anything change on this show? At least the songs are still decent, especially with the new members.

Rachel is competitive. Thats who she is. Before she knew no one on the team was her equal. Now she feels threatened. Big time.

And Finn isn't in trouble iwth the team. Hes in trouble with Beast.

Well, forgive my wording. Finn started out with problems with the old coach as well last season. The point is these characters returned to what they were before, yet again. What happened to all of the progression?

Because music education has traditionally always been on the bottom of the totem pole.

Likewise, music education students, with very few exceptions, will always be on the bottom of the totem pole.

It's just how things are, and it's what's made Glee compelling: that despite how hard these characters try, and as much success/traction/progress they may think they make...they're always going to be sorts of tragic, misguided heroes.

What's been missing from Glee was the edge of the first season. So far I've seen some decent teeth again.

i thought they started this season great. sure the song weren't that good but overall i am enjoying it. hope it keeps getting better.

Viewers revel in seeing their favorite characters unable to escape their character traits. It's like the hallmark of an amazing comedy show.

I'll concede it's more of a dramedy though, and as a hybrid it'd be nice to see some measure of change as we go. But man, this show's still fresh enough that I want to see the characters I love doing what they do best.

What did Quinn yell to Santana right at the end of the fight?

The opening was amazing, and there were some great parts, but I've never liked "Rachel needs attention" storylines. Oh well. Next week has a lot of skimpy outfits :D :D :D

I wasn't even sure I was going to watch it but that opening sold me. Lost it when Rachel was asked when she'd return to the Shire.

I really hate how Kurt has become the ultra femme stereotypical gay character. But its probably too challenging for Glee writers to write a fully realized gay character that isn't shouting out showtunes or wearing designer clothes.

And I can't believe the writers thought they'd have Finn and Artie believe they could get a wheelchair bound boy into a football game. I knew Finn was dumb but jeez.
