Will Gwyneth be a recurring guest now? Surprised at that ending only because I thought she'd be gone and return in a year or so a la Chenoweth.
She has one more episode left this season, they were filming it last week.

This ep went from trainwreck-Murphy to pretty stellar as the hour passed.

Loved the closing shot, loved Holly.
Pretty much, at first I was like........ -_-;;

Then I was like.............................. '_'

Then I was like.............................. ^_^/;_;

The first 10 or so minutes of the episode were all over the place, I understand that it's supposed to be OTT, but it was speeding off a cliff. Then all of a sudden the plot lines started being engaging. Pretty much all the developments were worthwhile.... except Quinn/Finn. (WHY QUINN WHY.)

Santana was definitely the stand out of the episode, I did not expect that they would go that deep with the Brittana relationship, but I'm really glad they did. I was under the impression that it was just going to be treated as some throwaway scene like it had been in the past, but to actually validate that relationship and Santana's feeling was the right thing to do. Sadly it didn't work out so great for Santana (yet), but I hope they stick with it even if it doesn't end up with Brittany and Santana together.

I'm a little surprised that people are shocked that Emma hasn't done it yet. Do they remember how severe her OCD is? I think it's reasonable to believe that she still feels this way. I think it would be weirder if they just pretended that her relationship with Carl has instantly cured her and that she was totally over it, which is what is seemed like they were going in previous episodes. And I'm quite happy that they are finally focusing on Emma's character and giving Jayma more to do.

Gwynneth is really adding to the show. She makes a much more viable option in a Will love triangle than Terri, I wouldn't mind seeing her stick around.

Kurt and Blaine again had some quality scenes, and Blaine and Burt was great. (As was Kurt & Burt.) I still don't know if I'd like Blaine and Kurt to be together, or just friends. I think it would be interesting to see them supporting each other in their separate relationships.

Lauren and Puck continue to be cute. They kind of go hot & cold a bit too much, but I like seeing them together.

As for the music, I think almost all the songs were quite excellent. Landslide was fantastic. The only miss was Animal. (Kiss was eh too, but I liked the dancing.) I don't think Animal really suited Chris' voice, and the harmony didn't really gel with me, and Chris and Darren usually sound really great together.

Let me end with... WHY QUINN WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. (Finn is a douche.)

I really enjoyed this episode, despite thinking it was going to be another throw away affair. The beginning really was a bit silly, though I suppose it wouldn't be Glee without it. I'm glad it all went somewhere and remembered to start developing the characters again, though Quinn and Finn. V_V I really think Finn's character is just annoying and he is an idiot, though it was always going to happen.

The Brittany and Santana scenes were lovely. :) And "Landslide" was a beautiful cover. Nothing to really complain about there. Surely Artie is going to find out about this though and it will all go tits up from there? I'm glad Brittany said she wouldn't split up with Artie as she loves him too, as they are a cute couple. I loved how Santana was gazing at Brittany in the celibacy club and the emotions that were shown in the song. She really is top notch.

I'm also loving Lauren more and more, her and Puck are still really over-the-top ridiculous and cute.

Really wish we knew wha was happening with Kurt and Blaine, they've dragged it out now and I just want to know! They have lovely chemistry together. The scene with Kurt and Burt were nice too. I'm glad the show is addressing gay relationships well and not just using them as fan girl appeal. (Well, they are a bit but :3)

Are they having the original songs next week? Not sure how I feel about that, but I can't really judge yet. :)

and yes. Original song next week. Regionals!

Jeesus. you think Warblers would dress differently.

Oh gosh, those dresses are so shiny and tacky looking. And they are going to completely blend in with the set curtain if that Warblers shot is anything to go by. ^_^

Completely missed that it is regionals next week. Not too sure how. >_>

So... if I'm counting right, there are four Warblers songs in the next episode (Blackbird, Misery, Raise Your Glass, and Candles), in addition to the New Directions numbers? Yeesh.

Two regional songs probably and at least one of the others is related to a spoiler.

The harmonizing between Blaine and Kurt on Candles is awful.

Santanna and Brit was really touching. Quinn and Finn turns my stomach. Burt/Kurt was again really touching, as was Blaine's talk with Burt.

Finally, Gwynneth is a perfect fit on this show. Moar Moar!

Glee!
I agree I liked Santana and Brit this week, and I'd love for Gwyneth to become a cast regular I love it when she's on.

They would need to tone her down. She's more over the top than Sue.

I don't think they can afford her.

And yes, next episode is loaded with the Warblers. They are singing
Candles/Raise Your Glass
for Regionals. Aural Intensity is performing
Jesus Is a Friend of Mine
.

I like "Get It Right" and while I hate "Loser Like Me" the performance was ok. That stagewear, however, was made by the devil. Seriously, they always dress awful for the competitions.

Did the audio quality sound way off for anyone else this episode, especially for the songs? I wonder if that was done intentionally.

Anyway, it was an alright episode. The original songs were adequate, and the plot developments were pretty much what needed to happen. Kurt & Blaine finally getting together was cute. Finn continues to be a hypocritical douche and I'm boggled as to why either Rachel or Quinn want him.

And there's got to be some repercussions for Sue's physically abuse towards that lady, right? I know in the past her physical actions were played for comedic effect, but this was totally different. I hope they don't sweep it under the rug.

Seriously, shouldn't she be serving time in jail or being in some sort of anger management program by now. Pushing people down stairs, taunting students, trashing the school, punching people on stage in front of hundreds! And that's only the past few episodes!

OMG, Kathy Griffin. Friggin' love her, and it was perfect casting. LOL

The Klaine kissing scene was great. Kinda out of nowhere given Blaine's behavior in the past.. ten episodes but eh, it's Glee.

The original songs were hilarious. "Trouty Mouth" and "Big Ass" were hysterical, and I've been singing "Hell to the No" to myself for the past hour.

Sue punching that lady made me spit out my water. Amazing.

Do some of you know who Hey Monday is? I love the band and I was super hyped Glee covered their song Candles tonight. I wouldn't of had Blaine and Kurt sing it(although its in Kurt's vocal range). Anyways, I really liked the Loser Like Me song and I missed the Get It Right song..Hell To The No is catchy, as was Trouty Mouth..Big Ass Heart was meh. All in all..a solid episode. Glad to see New Directions win Regionals.
