GODDAMN EX GF

So this past week things were going good. We started talking less and less as each of us have been getting much busier with our own lives. Anyway she went away this weekend to get smashed or whatever at some barn, fuck if I know. I didn't really care, but I wanted to talk to her today when she got back, so she pops on MSN and I was pretty happy to talk to her, which is a good sign.

Anyway, she has to leave anyway because she has to work on some project, she's been keeping her partners waiting. Which, is cool.

She's just a friend, so I shouldn't be attached.

But, I still am. She's so lucky living in res with all those distractions, meanwhile I'm at home. It's Sunday, I'm not working tonight, and really I should be studying, but god, she makes me so mad! And it's not even her fault, but I still get mad.

I don't know, I feel like when she comes back telling her that we'll never get back together, just to spite her ass.

Edit: I hope nobody mistakes this for a Third Strike thread from the title :p

The first stage is joining GAF, then a relationship problem occurs out of the blue followed by a nasty breakup , eventually other things occur with this same person that lead to a complete and total cutoff next thing we know another member has joined the GAYming age cult.


Or... atleast something like that... :p

I know you're venting, but you shouldn't worry about stuff like this. Step back from yourself and think about what's bothering you - she's working on a project for school. It's not like she said "I'm gonna go star in my first adult movie, bye!"

It's just that when we were about the break up, she'd keep verifying that we'd be best friends. I just said, sure, I'll try.

And, it's like I'm trying harder than her, even just to talk to her for 5 minutes. I mean, she doesn't even call me or jack shit. It pisses me off that she's being such a hypocrite.

It's exactly the same situation as the last time you posted a thread about your ex. Either it's done -- in which case you shouldn't be complaining -- or it's now a formal "long-distance relationship. Pick one.

I just emailed her saying, if she wants to remain friends with me, as in, actually remain in contact, it's in her hands. If not, I really don't care either way, since I won't be able to do anything about it.

I was pretty harsh sounding, but I'm sick of this BS. Straight to the point.

Hopefully I won't make another thread next weekend :p

these are the steps that i wish i could follow but cant -

take her off your buddy list
start talking to other girls in your classes, or otherwise keep yourself occupied
if needed, masturbate. a ton.
if she hurt you - realize she's a bitch and be resolute in that.
if you hurt her - realize that you're probably hotter than her and she never had a chance.

Seriously, i dont want to be as attached as i am, but i cant help it. And i get really jealous sometimes when she is around other guys and do things just to spite her because of it.

Nah, don't. Just take some time off of the dating scene, let you're wounds heal, but don't forget about the lessons you've learned. If you haven't learned anything or haven't gotten rid of you're baggage, you're just wasting time. Don't sulk, move on. "Moving on" doesn't necessarily have to mean moving on to someone else.

Yeah, right on. I'm keeping busy with loads of school that's been piling up the last month, increased work schedule, volunteering (tutoring), and flair bartending club :p

So I just ordered Pikmin 2/Donkey Konga, and I have about 10 Naruto eps to go through, as well as 2 more Initial D's, and like 11 Samurai Champloo. Hopefully I can watch it all after my first wave of midterms :D
